Global Warming

Global warming is not here, they said, but it's been a weird winter Our winters are usually long, with tons of snow, cold and bitter We had warm temps of fifty degrees a few weeks ago in January We had a flood, bugs were seen flying in the air, ants reappeared Birds were seen flocking to trees in droves, the air smelled like spring Our government wants us to believe it was just a normal January thaw We are living these climate changes, signs that global warming is here 2/9/19

A good write for people concerned, but just imagine how stymied a peach tree may be! Aloha! Rico

I enjoyed your imagery very much! I can barely go to the grocery store without crying about all the litter that now lines every road I drive on - it breaks my heart; pollution does as well, but, I know our beloved earth has always changed, since day one, it has changed. We had Spring yesterday, today freezing temps (Virginia) yet I can accept that and NOT the litter! Good luck in the contest and all else ... CayCay

Excellent write! A couple of weeks ago, we had night temps of 3 deg below zero and the next weekend came highs of 70. If this gets much worse; I'll want to move to a new planet.
