A melancholy tulip
In an everlasting sun
Until midnight's dream of a goodnight kiss
Brought the rainfall upon it's skin
thunder and lightning
with heavy rainfall at night - -
snails and slugs party
for Regina Riddle's nature haiku contest
Out in a rainfall;
Hopeful but woeful waters,
Pitifully falls...
Lightning wretchedly dances,
Thunders echoed and resound...
It poured heavy rain
During the early evening
The wind was howling
The boughs of the trees dancing
To the beat of pouring rain
A
Lonely
Depiction;
Colors and paints;
Rainfall on the plains.
Two girls Jumping in rain.
On a moment, felt almost
True.
As the rain fell on our heads
I thought what we could be doing in our bed
Fast and wild as a freeway
As we kissed on the wet grey day
The drooping lilacs
resemble the wilted poppies
that wait for rainfall...
their spring glory has vanished!

After the down pour
Of a heavy rainfall
The wet fence dries off
Now the wet spot shows
A wet spot shape heart
Done by Mother nature
the fountain has run arid
similar to her feelings
infertile until rainfall
stirred concurrently

Soft Celtic rainfall
Sunlight flicker, shadow play
Iridescent glow
Wild, flamboyant golden gorse
Vibrant vista, summer sun.
Listening to the rainfall
Keeping beat on the ground,
Many shafts of gray I see
Within the sky around.
The river had come back to the valley.
Early morning rainfall,
followed by the mid-day sun
dew filled pine and fir limbs
light up like a christmas tree......
The rain pitter patters
Your name
Falling like tears
On everything!
The first rainfall after my "then" husband's death from cancer at age 34...
Germany scored seven goals, poor Brazil is awash with tears
Guess they won’t need any rainfall for at least a hundred years

green leaves of old trees
newly washed from the rainfall
now brightly shining
under the emerging sun
... the spring shower now over
Oh how my heart does bloom
When you breathe my name
A sound softly swept through
The din of a dying world
A rainfall to quench the thirst of deserts
C-louds are dark and gray
B-ecause the wide sky has shown
N-othing but rainfall.

Rainfall pounds on the roof,
sounds like it's dropping critters.
can't hear myself think,
and it's giving me the jitters!

Sacred oven like heat
A place where mirages thrive
Desert winds bloom high
Dreaming of rainfall, I pray
Tic Toc, that rain will quench

Raindrops
Small, water
Trickling, falling, pouring
Drizzle, rainfall, shower, downpour
Bucketing, hailing, drenching
Icy, cold
Sleet
Latching on and letting go,
the maddening draught and the soothing rainfall,
the sunrays and the moonbeams
the river flows forever forward
Be
carried
with
it.
roiling with rainfall
effacement of whiteboard gold
smudge of sunset highs
bleak venue of tinkling notes
rusting aluminum roof

Lord,
Let me be free,
Like this rainfall
Free like this light
In your eyes
Free like this
A robin’s call
Free like this
River that runs
Through your soul
A lovely rainfall
Big boots and an umbrella
Meandering down the walk
Looking for puddles
Keeping dry from rain above
Soaked to the skin from below
Wear hip boots while visiting Venice
A huge rainfall caused a postponement of tennis
Driving the express
Causes much stress
Keep the windows closed to avoid wetness
