A melancholy tulip
In an everlasting sun
Until midnight's dream of a goodnight kiss
Brought the rainfall upon it's skin

Beautiful imagery, Kyle. The rain can weigh one down, but can also be the source of revitilization. :) This seems to be metaphorical, as the title suggests, but im sure it can be open to different interpretations. Awesome work as usual! Always, Laura
