angel of the night decends from rails of sky
to huff a kiss ...my slumber's lullaby. *
T~UNNELS BLACK AS COAL
R~EVEAL RUSTING RAILS
A~NTIQUITY ALLURES IMAGINATION
I~RON HORSE STIRS
N~EVER FORGOTTEN
S~ONGS OF THE RAIL
The whore train rubs its warm thumping body against the rails
The heat rises and the chimney wails
A smell of melting chokes its throat
Night's curve
lost on rails
my broken keys lost in a sad lune
an orchestra playing on my mind
a drama of senses
takes its toll--
cracked miles

Quiggie Snarls were maritime snails
Tasted butter in mouth of Hales
He ate a bucketful
With his grandson Gudrool
Then kicked the bucket off the rails
Texans are not known for their brains
Which go off the rails just like trains
But why should they care?
They're going nowhere
Why worry who's holding the reins?
It's not simple to find a train at sea
or eye planes climbing on the trees
never got to sight ox fly
fish swimming in river dry
boats travelling rails sailing free
My anniversary gift went off the rails.
She sought it shiny with correct details.
Goes from nought to two hundred
in three seconds, so wondered -
But it wasn’t a set of bathroom scales,
Life is a balancing game.
At times through dilapidated bridge,
With shattered rails and planks,
We have to daringly pass,
To reach our desired destination.
Through struggle
one can justify life
Losing the battle
enhances the view
Blood on the rails
all markings assured
Death as the prize
— recurring anew

How do you fare on the happiness scale
Are you an A-Plus or have you fallen off the rails
Bend an ear
And listen here
Besides an occasional glitch, everything else pales
nostalgia, farewell

Rails chewed up the land
Buffalo herds cease to roam
Down the railway track
Over hills, over dales gone
‘Big Horns’ and ‘Buffalo Bills’!

Monocrostic (Birthday of Marlyn B. Pontigon)
Rice is really great if you're really hungry
And wanna eat two thousand of something uncrunchy
Does that sound weird
How about corn's ears
Okay I'm off the rails, wanna play rugby?
Webs of graffiti
Fill a dimly lit station--
Holding my map to nowhere
I trace old paint stretch far
Into abandoned rails called life.

Without saying to come and get me
Know today, tomorrow this will be
Our lives are best spent together
We are more than what is not said
This destiny riding eternal rails
Chugging along while I have track
Night train screaming down
The hill, grinder for
Metal rails in Earth’s dust.
Painful reminder of war
Carrying troops to battle.
Her screams echo those of
the dying soldiers.
Tracks Or Train With A Tarnish
Either train itself or tracks had a tarnish;
Missions and goals difficult to accomplish;
Unstable section;
Was a detection,
As on the rails train sped and went swish.
Jim Horn
Worry not, it's a minor bump in the road
Happens rarely, must stay near the commode
Won't bore you details
Just a bit off the rails
Be back just as soon I feel better and reload

Sweet
(Nonet)
So tasty on oceans chocolate
Waves lift up on light sugar spray
White, tender, cherry red love
Kissed on liquorish boat
Made of bliss, pink rails
Sails of candy
Delicious
Mistress
Sweet
Black, white and gray smoke trail a mile long, working all the way
The fireman shoveling more coal, heading for the next water stop
Across the country, "The Iron Horse", goes down the rails
Form:
Currently things seem to have gone off the rails
One of those times when total bedlam prevails
Car problems, tough choices
Number two, doc appointments
And Cathie has the worst cold, at the top of the scale
In the silence
There is a humming
A hint of life’s
Forever whisper.
The whirr of atoms
Spinning galaxies
Iron rails singing
Un-clappered bells
Repeating a lost call
A vibratory vastness
Seeking validation
A raindrop
the staircase stops mid-air
cobwebs choke in dust
down, down critters skitter
down invisible rails
waters swirl
up springs Hope
without a cue card
violins carry it off
