Night Train Screams

Night train screaming down The hill, grinder for Metal rails in Earth’s dust. Painful reminder of war Carrying troops to battle. Her screams echo those of the dying soldiers.

It was horrifically noisy for several years and those trains ran all night and day; prior, there were only three; two in the day; one at night. Thanks.

War has never seemed this real.

Wow, it's a description of the local trains back when the Afghan war broke out; for several years those trains were so loud; I'd hear them all night when usually there was only one during the night for several years during that war. It was unnerving. Thanks.
