We’ve shared a lot the two of us
The nine months we’ve been one
I’ve joggled you and you’ve kicked me
But now our visits done.

And I wonder as I look at you
In one second change my life
To know I am your mother
And no longer just a wife.

Glorious color is the reward of the onlooker
Bewitchment by the quick change engages fantasy
Of the sage who has the role of a caretaker

Sunlight passes through common broomsage
Its color purple fills me with excitement
The light component does my mind assuage
Light accelerates color with enlightenment

Why have you deceived me?
How could you let me down?
Somehow I feel that you no longer care.
Why such a quick change of heart?
It was only yesterday when you said nothing could tear us apart.
What a lie your lips did tell, but I believed you because you told it so well. 
All is good with me though I often think about you and your words.
But yet you are no where to be seen and your words are no longer heard....
