When Jack and Jill went up the hill
Each one had a quarter
Jill came down with fifty cents
I thought they went for water
before the sunset,
mulberry watering time,
many leaves are green
yet, a quarter are yellow,
just five are dark in color!
You said I wasn't worth a plug nickel
But you offered a penny for my thoughts,
So I gave you my two cents
And turned on a dime
Quarter moon strives,
grows half.
Half-moon yearns,
grows whole.
Full moon offers—
New moon envies:
half, whole, full.
bright-lit Lughnasadh
hails grain crops at the ready
Lugh and Danu join
in harvest celebration
gratitude is genuine
Fifth of November
One quarter from age eighty
Memories intact…
Sorry to those in metric
Twenty five percent to go

Time with you, a pleasure,
is a thing that I can't measure
with a centimeter or an inch,
a quarter teaspoon or a pinch.
It's a priceless treasure.
Charting happiness
Taking the real trip
Letting nothing
Confuse or kick
Unchanging bliss
Noting the balance
Seasons quarter
Sheer soul desire
A dot-
Thousands of a drop,
A dot and a FULL stop similar in size,
If the FULL stop is a dot,
Where is eyes to look at half stop?
A quarter?
Cute, Smart, Clever
Not me, not Now
Not you, Never
Illicit, not Explicit
Emote, not Promote
Rile, Smile, Beguile
Inch, Quarter, Mile
Dere once was a goil in da Quawta
Who never did do what she oughtta.
She stripped down one night
--Dat was really a sight--
Till NOPD come and caughtta!
Crossing on high
The winter sky
A lone goose cries
The stars shine bright
And hung nearby
A Quarter moon
I wonder why
Where does it fly?
No mate in sight
Form:
I have never seen
such beautiful eyes;
Eyes of clear;
can never tell lies;
Those big round eyes,
as big as a quarter,
sit down and tells
a story of water.
A five minute fad
or one week wonder;
fame for a quarter of an hour...
Fleeting images..
shadows in the sun,
vapour of the morning dew..
.
Petals of a flower
How many drinks make you beautiful?
that question was asked to me
It’s somewhere around five
at a neighborhood dive
and the time is a quarter to three
Chink! One quarter in the machine ...
Crank! Crank! Crank!
Gumballs tumble ...
Plunk! ... I got one! ... Open the door.
Why was it always ...
Never the color I wanted?
uniform silence
dawn’s blatant bugle exhales
forcefully revoking sleep
recruits jump to feet
bounce a quarter off their sheets
commander shows no bias
Screaming cat, what's up with you?
Seated on my fence at a quarter of two
The night is short, the hour's deep
Leave me be to enjoy my sleep
Oh what I wouldn't give for a shoe!
The versatile jazzy rhythm went boom boom bah bing
We were dancing happily with a zany
Zingily zing
In the French quarter of New Orleans
Pretending we were voodoo queens
It's a quarter to six
and my mind starts to twitch
at the thought of commuting so far
if I worked closer to home
more time would I own
and could spend
more time in a bar
Mother Kylie had a lovely daughter
Who didn’t behave like a girl oughta
Out in her new vest
She got an arrest
For having put nowt on her hind quarter.
The Chinese diet, always on top picks,
Two grams of rice, which boiled in bucket water,
It should be eaten only by chopsticks.
But be a modest, eat this no more, than quarter!
If a nickel's worth a quarter and a quarter a fourth of a buck I have a dollar do I have any luck, did I mention man made recession~

Come be merry
on the streets of the French quarter.
Come be merry,
plum liqueur and praline whiskey.
We’re the oldest brick and mortar,
drink and have an appetizer.
Come be merry.
