The Only Punk Rock Girl
Outnumbered
1756 to one
I stood alone
I stood
Alone
In a culture of music
Unlike anyone else's
Flogging Molly
Scathed my back
With mad plaid in my mind
And Was Beder Das
Youth of rebellion
I stand true....

Patti dropped her pants, turned away from the river, reached down and touched her toes, and squirted back a big spray of piss. The river rose, spilled the banks, washed away the world. Now we are free, at last, at last, on this empty empty planet....

Pink Joy
My lines are kind of groovy
And my hair is pink
My stick is rainbow coloured
And my boots are green
Punk rock my favourite listening
There is magic in the air
All these silly things don't matter
That beset my brain
I want sparkles in my fizzy drinks
And beauty to entrance me
As I push my little pea-green boat
Out to an excited sea....

Interpace In the First Era of Punk Rock
When I was 17
I had a great job
Painting
Little
Desert
Flowers

Roses
On
Assembly line
Plates

Friends
On
The
Line
Taught me to pee on my hands
To
Neutralize
The
Poisons
In the glazes

The plates
Would
Land
On small
Cardboard
Palettes

Every
Night
I
Would
Take some of these
Cardboard palettes
When
I
Went
Home

And
Make
Pissed
On
Art...

Punk rock poetry
Perhaps that's a thing
(I'd check first, but too busy rebelling)

Throwing scribble on a page
Disregarding form
(Creating something that abrases the norm)

Reinventing the invented
Claiming the rights
(Looping the loop in the middle of the night)

Messing it up but showing it off
Misfit getting it wrong
(Spitting out occasional catchy song)

Punk rock and rebellion
Who knows if that's me
(Just an idea whilst I have a cup of tea)...

Angry Portland Vegans
they are green anarchist who listen
to national public radio along with
pseudo punk rock chick bands.

they are angry and i am pretty
 sure they killed jesus.

they have names like ryan and ashley
and in the fourth grade they kicked me
in the nuts and left me on the ground
 at recess.

these angry vegans also like to chew
on organic vanilla granola they buy
at the local new seasons store.
 going outside afterwards to
chain smoke and give me
dirty looks....
