Seen past time decay did great harms.
Restoration eased then priests' qualms.
Beautified now.
Pious churchmen seen chant sweet psalms.
They pass, we bow.
Holy writ - Inspired script,
Psalms divine and witty,
Fills the righteous with pearly mirth
And promises wrath to the uncouth,
Taught me aphorisms pithy-
And guides me along the right paths!
