I told life that I cheated with her sister death,
and how she has promised to set me down in
her bosoms
her graveyard of old lovers.
Wrap me in a blanket of sunflowers. Cover me in a sheet of hydrangeas. Kiss me in the Promised Lands, Where Adam and Eve held hands.
Cherubs promised they would not tell
Cardinal Pell visited Hell
Now Pell is there
More people swear
Whatever he did rings a bell
The Eagles Nest

My city strangles
