Chance Encounter

I saw an old friend
I haven't seen in ages
On a streetcorner
We promised to stay in touch
Then went our separate ways

Yes, this is so true, you captured it well in a beautiful Tanka. The Japanese forms of poetry are among my favorite. Very well written, truthfully and beautifully said. God bless, Amy :)

The awful truthput down neat and complete. I see you're a lover of tanka - me too, and haiku. Good to hear from you. Have a fine season. Love, daver
