Monogary
MANOGARY
Low is the road most traveled
Treachery and chicanery
There is no dirty pool in a back alley brawl
Or guerrilla warfare
Or war at all.
Or love for that matter.
Matter of fact.

We all suffer somehow
All pride must eventually fall.
You get for what you have asked....

Premium Member Rise and Fall
He got knocked off his high horse
Now in the mud with pigs
He use to fly with eagles
Someone clipped his wings

Pride before a fall
Pedestal knocked down
Robes of a king
No subjects around

The mighty replaced
The weak will rise up
Nothing lasts forever
Reality is tough

Choose to be humble
Live a life with care
What others see as less
In the end is truly more...

Peace
Let cringing tongue fall
 and rough elbow bend low
and the heart that beats faster shall o
 forever beats peace to all.

let still water remain still
And he thats down fear no fall
Pride is good,fall it call
Seat never on the fence, peace it kills.

Else we fall victim of greed
Let there be peace in our conscious thought
And busy hands chase idle plots
Least pay ear to satan's heed....

Salting the Earth
The sins of the fathers don't hurt us
We won't let them hold us back
We have so much to give
So as we stand on the hill
Watching the world burn away
Puffed up with pride we will fall
Live today for tonight we die, salting the earth
We ruin what we stand for
We tear the good to shreds but still
As we end the lives of those we protect we salt the earth
We burn the world down and salt the earth
We'll live and we'll die as hypocrites because we are human...

Victim
What makes a victim?

Potential for a good-looking corpse,
accident of birth,
genetic defect,
lack of self worth?

Maybe an invisible brand
only villains can devine;
pretty face,
a “kick me hard” sign?

Palpable sense of innocence,
evil at the core;
death wish,
not knowing the score?

Decrees of fate and chance,
pride before a fall,
chaos theory,
nothing much at all?

What makes a victim?

Little more than this:
filling a space,
the wrong time,
the wrong place…...

Sonnet 1
The heart seeks that which it cannot have;
For that of perfect beauty.
The corruption of life they desperately shave,
Yet fail to see the grace in duty.
Duty, such as the autumn tree,
Seen as pride before the fall,
Magnificent waves lapping o'er the sea
As precursors to a great blue wall.
Yet those who find that which they seek,
Searching far and wide,
Seeing life at its true peek
In the Lord whey now abide.
Though the world will try to lure you in,
True beauty lies in God akin....
