Rise and Fall

He got knocked off his high horse Now in the mud with pigs He use to fly with eagles Someone clipped his wings Pride before a fall Pedestal knocked down Robes of a king No subjects around The mighty replaced The weak will rise up Nothing lasts forever Reality is tough Choose to be humble Live a life with care What others see as less In the end is truly more

Like the waves we rise and fall. What you speak of is very true, but yet it's extremely hard to eliminate people entirely from the equation. I think that somewhere deep down, there's always that little piece inside you that DOES care what other people are saying. It's easy to stay off one's high horse if you are very short, however! Lol...
