Doesn't Christmastime mean
presents, carols and cheers?
But for one it won't
be a jolly Holiday
diagnosed with breast cancer.
better than fear
when it presents itself...
is not facing it,
is not being present...!
Children now crying
In lockup at border camp
Waiting for mothers
No Christmas presents for them
Angles looking down crying

Connie's penned poetry presents colorful prose, captivated curiosity, parading carefreely pass cemented paths ceremoniously.
Honored by her presents ...
Astounded by her beauty ...
Soothed by her grace ...
But sadly she is gone, and
without her I slowly fade.
Missing their presence while opening up their holiday presents had become a nostalgic and bittersweet ritual for them.

no man woman ethnic race
lying cheating poker face
for christian fury
presents less worry
some know less about this place.
A magical gift
after all the people leave
all the presents gone
the fireplace burning low
i love you the best grandma...
Christmastime colors
Cinnamon and evergreen
Sweet scents all around.
Mistletoe and holly hung
It’s time to open presents!
Christmas is coming,
And so is the snow.
Presents are wrapping,
Bows are being tied.
All I want for Christmas,
Is to know you’re all mine.
beware of evil for it always presents itself dressed into its most impressive regalia!

under the tree
presents wait,
their ribbons
curled
like sleeping cats
globes and gold tinsel
balsam trees bless, a festive flair
presents await us

Gabriel groaning:
" Another Godzilla flick!" ( 3 second delay on sound track.)
Almighty critic. ( Cue theme music and metallic pipe organ roar.)
Ho, ho, ho! It’s me, Santa Claus!!
And you barged into my house because?
Well duh, I’m here for your presents
Well, I’m calling 911 you peasant!!
Man absorbed by the problems his existence presents fails Cosmos' resplendence to see!

Why do all children love Christmas...
is that because of presents?
And if Santa never came...
whom would they blame?
No answer needed: it's themselves!
When real life
it presents me heavy task,
I promptly soften
it with
light poetry... !
I am grateful before I ever blow a candle
or open a present
for being blessed
to take a moment to remember
all the wonders I already possess
His narcissism’s off the charts
Only psychos say he’s got smarts
This china shop bull
Sells shopping carts full
Of shlock from his rear-facing parts
This is the worst day
Christmas was just plain awful
No one the stop by
No presents exchanged
There was no celebration
No joy in the house
