Come the mighty night
with stars and moon blazing bright.
Hunters hark delight!
Predators prey with sharp sight.
Smaller creatures cringe, affright!
Know your surroundings-they say
but the predators know them better.
In bear country-never keep food in the tent
but always remember-you are the food.
Ferocious jungle predators
Perilous mountain passes
Raging waters o'er stormy seas
For aye buried 'neath pleasure
~ lock lips with me
Scurrying about...
Darting here and there... panicked
Whimpering feebly...
Brave predators lick their lips...
Caged, trapped... helpless... caught fast
Zombie World
Zombies in the night
Who were people hours before
Rising from the dead
These slow predators
Are coming for us all now
It’s a zombie world
Thomson gazelle bounces as she runs
showing predators chasing her would not be fun
she’s pretty common in Africa these days
Bouncing around in her usual happy ways
Only wise when awake
Outgoing like the wind
Opposed to nothing small
Ousts mice very quickly

Outstanding birds indeed

Ever seen falcons and honey bees?
Falcons eat pigeons hiding in trees,
hunting them until they're full.
Honey bees work hard 'till Fall...
before any beehive freezes.
If you turn down the lights in your mind,
everything begins to turn grey,
then it would be a bit difficult to see around
and for the predators, you might be a good prey
Out n’ out predators,
Observant with wide eyes,
Ogre like, tear up prey.
Oviparous they are.
Ornithologist’s pets.
Ousted as ill omen.
Zebras and giraffes are pals with wows!
Like pygmy goats and milking cows
If predators are close, giraffes sound the alarm
Zebras run with their herd to avoid death or harm
I wondered! Why wisdom wastes away
In the valley of vanity, void and voiceless.
I often pondered on how poor predators play
Away with the lives of the wealthy and worthless
beautiful oceans ~
attract swimmers and surfers
home to predators ~

Eagles are a fascinating breed of unique birds,
and the kind that I like are those beautiful
white-headed with two long black wings
resting on rocks when dusk makes the sky dull.
concrete jungle trails
lure predators on the prowl ---
posh picturesque parks
proven hunting grounds
only fools frequent nature ---
green leafy trees shade secrets
Henry Harry Harold Hubert Hedgehog he
Rolls himself into a prickly ball, let’s let him be
When predators come to annoy, torment or play
His prickly thorns discourage them to go far away
Living in mountainous rocky area
Makes goat mountain free from predators
But, sometimes a simple wrong steps will kill them
Other danger lurking goat mountain
Are the poachers and hunters.
praying seems it is,
preying on moths without a miss,
quick, lethal mantis!
cold, coiled artistry,
ornately hued predator,
boa constrictor!
scared of predators
sits on an oak awaken
snarfing the peanuts
