"Jaws" always comes to mind. Until I got stung by a jellyfish, I never gave it that much thought, but I don't want to go in the ocean over knee deep anymore. I enjoyed reading this one today. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Sara K

Hello Tom, A very interesting Haiku here!! With the pic of the Gray-White Shark, I instantly conjured images from the classic Spielberg movie: "JAWS"!! I agree with Connie, swimming in a lake or pool is okay, but NO to the oceans!! Excellent Work!! Best Wishes, Gary

I much rather go swimming in a lake or pool because you never know what awaits in the sea. Sharks have also been know to come in very close to shore. A lovely haiku Tom! : )

Thank you Connie, it amazes me how surfers recount tales of near misses with predators'. Jaws was in my mind when I thought of this one. Tom

Not every beauty is a safe anchor and shore to Man! Beauty attracts souls, hearts and minds to its bay.. We are to decide if we embrace it or just behold it.. A brilliant Haiku! A FAV. Thank you for sharing Tom. Be blessed.

I stay out of the water. It's THEIR home, not ours. Shark Week inspired my thoughts. Wanna see The Meg?

Indeed it is Lin, If some one came into our home we'd want to defend it. Tom. The Meg was one big shark, must catch that film

it is amazing to me to see predators included as it is so diabolically true, but rarely thought about when we are giddily jumping up and down in the murky water. Nicely done, Tom.

Ooh the threat after the seemingly peaceful. What a good contrast, Tom. ( Did you mean for the verb to be 'attract; to refer to the plural oceans?)
