They say that with you
I should be able to fly
Higher than before.
But sadly it's just not true,
So the high remains a lie.

All have suffered, under the same tyranny.!

Love Inception

my true love will be the insidious inception that penetrates every cornerstone of the
thoughts of my placebo to the mercy of the one who infiltrates my soul.

Poetry Is My Placebo

Poetry is my placebo
I get into it when I write it
in the ethereal or logical verse
and even if good vacuum is lost,
I will always write it, I am a stoic poet!

Low Expectations

Some wish to be A sport Pro Others would like To be a hero While I… I'll have youknow Aspire to be no more Than a humble Placebo

Do Not Resuscitate

Stuck in a void,
Waiting for death.
I just want to breathe,
My final breath.

I'm in agony.
Please pull the plug.
Don't try to cure me,
With a placebo drug.

Doctors say with treatment,
My life could be great.
They lie so I tell them:
"Do not resuscitate."
Form:

Placebo

she says
she loves
me and the
feeling is good
feeling that
the world
will never
end

happiness
becomes
addiction
loneliness
forgotten
in blurred
vision just
side effects

what is this
thing called
love?
what is this
thing called,
love?
questioning
commas

Placebo Wars

?
Why
are
Marines
and Army
Soldiers fighting in
Afghanistan and
Iraq, against the Taliban and the Al Qaida
Against an enemy who hides in the mountains, who once ruled by intimidation
We are not winning these wars, we are merely a placebo, being injected into an infection
of radicals, when will it end
war

Two viruses are out there now
each can take your breath away
it's what they're born to do..
Two parasites are also out there
they attack the mind
until a lie becomes truth
and a truth becomes a lie.
While love along with a {the placebo}
sit under heavy stone-masks
unrecognizable
ineffective
forgotten.

Human Lab Rat

A dose of a placebo
intended to deceive
the symptoms and your feelings
are just what you perceive.

This game of med deception
unwittingly you play
no change in your condition
that's just the price you pay.

Sometime in the future
they gather all the stats
perhaps a cure resulting
thanks to all you rats.

Was In Gazebo Horn Haiku

Was In Gazebo Horn Haiku

Was in gazebo
When we found a placebo
And will watch it grow.

I am still reading Never Do
Deny Bill Nye the Science
guy.

As a rule what you
Normally will do in school
Is do fight a duel.

Should I ask her another
question or to priest make
a confession?

Premium Member My Amphetamine

Poetry's my amphetamine,
My brain's everyday vitamin,

It is a cure for my boredom,
My heart's expression of freedom,

My placebo for the day,
It keeps all my fears at bay,

The prescription for my disease,
It keeps my soul and mind at ease,

My drug, my pill, my medicine,
Poetry's my amphetamine.

Placebo

The will of God, e'er take
me to my knees,
your Spirit, so astringent
cleansing, free!

Ne'er given to imply
a church of greed
attendance, and deny
as fate takes fee!

What is the Godly why
where the decree
in Gospels wrenching cry
wanderings spree!

With Hope our mind's comply
Christ's heart receive
in apathy's restraint
placebos flee!
Form: Monorhyme

Placebo of the Heart

I yearn to be in your arms
To look in your eyes and see
The same feelings that I have
The same passion and intensity

Tell me your sweet lies
Let me listen and believe
Delude my heart and mind
That all your attention I receive

For a moment, be mine
Heal this void, fill this hole
Give me that, which I desire
To experience being whole

Hope

Hope is not just a tranquilizer,
It's a placebo
To keep you alive
Till the doctor comes!
Never you lose hope, never!

Hope is not just an opium,
When the chips are down,
Hope is that part of you
That keeps you alive
It keeps you looking at the brighter side!

Problems are strong, fears are stronger,
But the smallest hope, could conquer them all.

Placebo

The meds should be working by now…
They are but,
I still drink coffee all night to drive away the nightmares.
The meds are working, I trust them.
I told the doctor, and he is evil.
Burning, and tingling, and restless.
They are working so well.
I sleep once in a while.
Some people say it’s not enough.
I take my meds every day.
I don’t believe in the placebo effect.
I believe in the power of medication.

This cigarette is a placebo

the sharp cry of metal scrapping flint sets you ablaze,
combustion, turning oxygen and nicotine into ash in my mouth,
I want to kiss you my dear,
I want to breath you in and fill my lungs to the brim
with your choked up hope
I want to wait and see,
believe with every part of me,
that when i finish this stint,
things might be different,
that this next drag might lag that aching hole,
and one day soon I might feel whole
Form: Rhyme

Blissful

Dreams, oh so fragile
Like a string caught on fire
Only to sever, shrivel, and vanish
Right before your eyes

You think you've seen the light?
All you have seen is stars, glimmering
Until they implode
Turning to more darkness

A pain in my side
Takes pain to give life, takes pain to die
Nothing can pardon pain
Life, is a placebo

Savor the pain
With rewards comes suffering
Enjoy the pain, every ounce
Drop by drop

Silence is blissful
Form:

Nicotine

though I was born
as a cancer in a death bed
drifting apart
from the trinity
from dignity
it is the brain
which needs some chemicals
beyond boundaries
of the meaning of placebo
twelve divisions
of signs ignite
smouldering
inhaling
burn through skies
something is missing
to decrease the tension
in a negative light
to cure the insomnia
in an ecliptic sphere
and worsening mood
floats with philosophy
in the evening lounge

Burgeon Green Consomme

Sugar hill
Placebo pill
Candy cane
Taps on my window pane.
St. Patrick’s Day is a big thrill.

Morning glory
Telling stories.
Birth flower,
In the morning hours.
Smell the flora!

Four leaf clovers
Such a quarry
Findings are two leaves, three.
Sitting in the lea
Telling stories.

Leprechaun gold
Pay the tolls.
Riding bikes with no shoes on.
Having so much fawn.
Life to behold!

Plasmolyzed

This was a troubling concept-
to start a dress rehearsal,
of ethnic cleansing.

Something pokes out-
on the tail end of the story.
There was no heart in the game.

You are driven like a-
flock of sheep. The shepherd
lives in the fortress of slogans.

A placebo effect was quite-
evident. Everybody was
drunk on sugar pills.

Unadulterated, the swearing-
had become genetic. You start
walking on the burning coals.

Babies Who Still Beds Wet

Over little mothers fret:
Their babies who still beds wet;
Lionesses in A Net!
Its stoppage they’d celebrate:
High time their doctor they met
And out their frustrations let…

And Doc begins to Mum pet,
Drying tear-filled eyes long wet:
Some placebo drug would get
And Fine Solution is set!

“Babes shall pee; I did no bet:
Time frees them from The odd Net
Only trying to help eyes wet”

Doctors’ Credit Alert get:
They won’t reject them, I’d bet!

Poetical Therapy

Poetry,
         read it as leaflet but
       shake yourself before using ...
       have it regularly,
       therapeutically,
sip it drop by drop ...
       Poetry,
       blessed therapy,
       occupational ...
       natural medicine,
       powerful remedy
       against all evil ...
       Poetry,
       panacea, placebo
       adequate.
       Formula of words,
       nutritious soup of letters ...
       Addictive magic potion
       well it does ...!
