sleeping on pillows like logs
when out of the blue
one barks on cue
sending the other two jumping like frogs

Wild blooms carpet natures floors

A 38th parallel separates our pillows
I try to touch her and she bellows
We are like strangers in our own bed
Help me break the Berlin wall in my bed
My grandma
I see her
Seating on her bed
Pillows propped with cotton
Circling her like witches
Around a cauldron pot
Her skin glowing
From her light within.
or peaceful vines
to turn a fork to tines

I'm dreaming of raindrops
warm, wet and sweet
falling like pillows
splashing my feet
moments pass by
rain turns to snow
candy from heaven
surely I know!
I hold his pillows, wishing for his cologne, beneath my elbows
As I sit in a position as though in a meditation.
I await his return to the desires which I most yearn.
