Friends call me “Sun Boy” for obvious reasons
I worship the sun gods, listen up you heathens
Winter's not civilized
Not a surprise
So I'm sending out petitions to cancel the season

There is God to worship
Hidden devils to venerate
Lives of many to betray
Few priests to hear petitions
Tongues to taste life’s soup
each with own tasteful taste
all are right, few could be right
before the tongue master

A peerless purveyor
pared pears on a pier.
Pierre, his au pair,
peered on, it appears.
Not payers, both players
prayed pious petitions;
For the nonce, no pence brought,
naught came to fruition.

Petitions:
I see no point in petitions,
no not one, nope none.
No steps stop intentions set in stone.
So stop it.
It's petti.
No Point in petitions nope not one.
(Written only using the letters in the word petitions)

I do not know?
Where do unanswered petitions go?
To the unseen side of the moon
Some say, where the wind carries
The seabird's cold dawn cries.
Above as below
It does matter
That once heard
Remains
Is.

St. Raphael the Archangel:
Archangel, St. Raphael please give me/us direction to my/our journey to where we're/I'm heading and protect us from darkness or evil. O Father Christ may he who stands forever praising You at Your throne present my/our humble petitions to be blessed by Eternal God. Through Father Christ our Lord Your Eternal Son. Amen.

Hallowed earthly spot
Friar's most sacred domain
Soulful presence felt
Impossible to ignore
Spiritual implication
Seeps into every fiber
Ancient Friary
One continuous prayer
Petitions in wind
Like whisper on subtle breeze
Rustling over silent grave
Empathic comprehension.

Prayers whispered on angel's wings
To the ear of God where they bring
Petitions of needful things
Where Heavens holy choir sings
Carried on wings of finest lace
To the presence of God's starbright face
In hopes of a miracle to embrace
Born of God's loving grace

In this season of Lent
before God we repent
of our sins and relent.
Let us therefore lament
all suffering and torment
which was not our intent,
but we failed to prevent
or it never was meant.
On our knees which are bent
with our garments all rent
our petitions are sent
for our Lord to assent
that our sorrow is spent
with all parties content.
An alleluia event.

Poets see truths sparked from Truth, in moans and groans
Regular petitions to Creator are urgent for all, atheists may join us
As we start or end each day - or Meditations on Peace first for souls
Yours truly tried some years without prayer; now I begin with prayer song
HALLOWED BE THY NAME; FATHER - SON AND SPIRIT, SAVING IS THY AIM

Wake your weapons
When the weary wind fills the way;
Poor pilgrim
Pray and report all your petitions
To the pure and powerful God.
While the sky waters the wide world
And while death’s dew dwells on kings
Bear each other’s burdens,
Bring all the hardships
And let them not break your broken hearts again.
Let not the past ruin your future,
And
Let bygones be bygones.

DISTANT SHORES
watching from far-off realms
water dams behind blind eyes
while touching blue hues
weave together
worlds of puzzling words remain
yet we choose not to notice
mere fresh petitions
that un-tether
through gathering clouds
unfolding blossoms of
moist butterfly wings
akin to dreams we
dream
within
the
distant
shores
of
poetry

Verse
My Dad, a little honest like a Priest
Taught me how to live and feast
With bangles of gold and diamond to your wrist
After a bloated tummy chant petitions due east
Son, nothing your path spare like a beast
'Cos amongst earth you're spared not to be the least
Told me life's but an illusion of morns mist
Gentle and rough 'pends on the angle you twist
I hail this sage who but on papers make no list.

THE LAST VESTIGE
the sky is covered with clothes of
mourning
in sinful array
everything lies contrasting
His
forgiving nature
fortitude remains as
He prepares for His
second coming
knowing without a doubt
that our war
is won
with our personal autonomy
we practise our petitions
awaiting the
restitution of His will
in time for the
last vestige

Love wants to intervene. So you can stay clean. The action you choose not only
affect you ;but those that love you. An addiction is a affliction that's a contradiction
to the real you.
There's so much friction between the two personalities. This is why your family
desires to use some intervention. With the intention to save the person they used
to know.
So with bended knees and tears in their eyes. They release their petitions to the
sky.

Light Verse
I asked King David to anoint my pin?
So I may chronicle the Psalms of this sinner
From beginning to end
That the Lord may somehow
Forgive me for all of my sins
And for the depth of my iniquities buried within
Penning Petitions to pardon
The transgressions of my youth
So that I may journal my journey
With sincerity and truth
I asked King Solomon to bless my ink
So that I may translate
Thoughts so insightful
That they force Wisdom to think.
