The opposite of optimistic
Win/Win love

is not pessimistic
Lose/Win risk

but nihilistic
Lose/Lose geno/eco-cide.

Statistic

This may seem pessimistic,
But honestly I’m a statistic,
Craving only the face of tomorrow,
Without the inclusion of this sorrow.

What I See

I notice what I desire to see,
sometimes it's the void and not the whole.
Other days it is hard to decree,
what I glimpse as I look through the hole.

Stagnation

pessimistic
stagnation
arose from
within
moved onward
in a sluggish
fashion
vibe was dull
at best
failure to
advance
together
failure to
progress as
a unit
stopped
ceased
all encounters

Happiness, freedom and love
The optimistic vertex
Sadness, oppression and hate
The pessimistic vertex
Life is but a throw of the dice

Let every man his poem treasure.
Let every girl her poem treasure.
Whether wit or want or wayward pleasure
Be met with rhyme or metered measure
Let every poem be a treasure.

(The Pessimistic Philanthropist 2012)

People Near Secaucus Love

People near Secaucus are eco-pessimistic,
And who can blame them,
Hanging over the blackened Hackensack
like that?
I hope some day new rain will come
to wash their hearts,
like pure white doves,
that people near Secaucus love.

You

People who want misery
will find it in everything

An angel becomes the devil
The flower wilts
A cloud blocks the shining sun

Angry people pick fights with you
pretending it's themselves

Don't be your own
 Worst
   Enemy.

Premium Member I Will Merge In My Shade

Time is not ripe
Now, my shade is merging in me
Time will arrive
I will merge in my shade
For final time
A bit of amusement, a bit of tragedy
A game like, in between symphony
Light and shade show
I’m no pessimistic, believe me
I have accepted as it comes
It’s my life….

Be Optimistic

Walk with confidence
Let gladness enter your heart
Be optimistic,

Not Pessimistic!
Don’t doubt your progress – come on!!
You can do this, bud!

Rock on, warrior!
Be bold and be positive
You will live longer

You’ll die in honor
Attitude of gratitude –
I grant you – happy?

Sweetheart, please no more sadistic
Sweetheart, please one more fantastic.

Babe, please one more sympathetic
Babe, please one more futuristic.

Honey, please no more pathetic
Honey, please one more romantic.

MAY these be the best days of your life
Each RAY of sunshine dispelling strife

All pessimistic thoughts kept at BAY
Loving kindness in each word you SAY

While warmer weather's bestowed your WAY
Spring broadcast by the singing blue JAY

Hating One Another --- An Almost Nonsensical But Pessimistic Poem

We hate one another.
We can't get together.
We know it's better to be friends,
But we just don't even bother.
Our turmoil is so intense.
It's at the end of our tether.
All the King's Horses
And all the King's Men
Couldn't get us together.
Oh, no, it's over. Why bother?

In Defense of Time

Time goes by.
I get old,
bored,
and more pessimistic.

But I like the Time.
Of all who passed by me,
in this life.
Time was the only one that did not ignore me.
Time was the only one that took me seriously.
Time has been the only one that has always been with me.

I will miss seeing Time pass.

Light-Years Apart

I am looking for someone to win my heart
But why it still seems we are light-years apart

I am not pessimistic in anyway:
I keep on looking for you day after day

My eyes are tired of looking for you
How shall I find you I don’t have a clue

When I will meet you I really don’t know
Although if I am the moon you are my glow

Core of the Mind

C-ore of the mind
E-xpresses either pleasure or dismay;
L-et the former fill the heart,

L-et the core of the mind make your outlook positive;
Y-ou'll never be pessimistic, to triumph is your motive.

C-lear conscience comforts you,
O-nce you search and find;

Lockdown- 22nd Day

Pessimistic minds
Pray to heavenly vaccines
From the death valleys

Day and night will live,
Universe with the nature
will live without I

Revolt reel
I make free sky kite
Aimlessly

Read or hate
Goalless lantern light
Knows to guide

Vaccines for the life
Poison for the death
The revolution of science
Must come to awake all world

Zen

Frightful courage
heavenly bad
pessimistic optimism
happily sad
Zen monk buddist priest
philosophic religion
pleasantly painful
colorless prism
Green colored stop sign
Oxymoron's twin
ageless bartender
with a twist of dry gin
hopefully hopeless
Paradise Found
If a tree falls in the forest
And no one's around
Does it make a sound?

Searching

Everyone has their skepticisms,
Fears,
And pessimistic views,
But if we live our lives looking at the glass half empty,
Rather than half full,
We'll spend our whole lives in search of that mythical full glass.
Instead of searching aimlessly
Throughout a mess of jumbled up,
Emotion scrambling
Circumstances,
Be thankful for the now,
Don't wait until it has already passed you by.

Striking fists ready to rumble & take defense
spiking soup with ginger makes more sense
beets ruby & golden broth brews perka pink
defeats all hatred, unlike you, lento is my ink

Brain waves flow against pessimistic energies
flames grave slow sink in my ocean’s synergies
[sigh] I’m not like you, I embrace what’s different
I let your unordinary mind unfold, until it isn’t

Pessimistic Clown

It Wants Me Broken
like shattered glass

Living in the darkness
of an unforgotten past

Sadness and Sorrow
etched upon my face

My shoulders sagging
every step misplaced

Lost with no Direction
blinded by my own fear

Screaming inside my head
 no one else can hear

The Silence of my secrets
 has finally beat me down

The world has become a circus,
and I'm it's sadist clown
