thereby
see each of
them in a new

An ekphrasis after Kirchner
Tangled thoughts tumble
onto yarns of jumbled concepts,
which form ideas
that weave raw perceptions
into cashmere images.
Un sweet reflections fueled by
modest outside perceptions.
Sights made up vain.
Questioning who you see
on the wall,
in a frame.
Everyday we think
through limited perceptions
Finding new angles
A glimpse through another's eyes
To think with a new mind-set
Stirrings of pleasure,everywhere...

from the corridors
of the mind a picture
takes shape, a story ensues
in the elusive world of dreams
With reluctance the call she received
Though she had not perceived
That the call could have her forever changed

From the womb
broken harmony and chord
lonely
fires set deep within
perceptions unfolding
A tear at birth
flows to olden days
the longest river of sadness
raging madness
Inside that single tear
I drowned
Powerful politicians promoting powerless politics.
Passing propagated policy proposedly preventing prejudice.
Pretending past perceptions pose puny persuasions presently.
Proving people prevent prosperity purposely.
Beauty
So exquisite
Mirrored wrong perceptions
Disguising hidden reflections
Of past hurts and life’s cruel condemnation
Lies beneath the surface
