Random- But Sweet
i should lock the door and get rid of the key,
it's not that easy peasy,
but would i be sane to take the blame?
for him my heart remains......

Living with chronic conditions is not easy,
hosting one’s own pity party, feeling somewhat queasy,
longing for those light and breezy days of easy peasy!

Premium Member A First Grader Sets His Goal
Setting goals with a first grader.
What do you want to be?
A unicorn.
Okay. What steps will you take?
I will drink unicorn juice and move into a unicorn barn.
Two steps.
I say “easy peasy”.
He shakes his head ‘yes” agreeing with me...

Easy Peasy I Made Lemonade
In the cave Hearing an echo,
Calling my name name name,
Let go go go….
It’s hard because I’m forever engraved,
I lack empathy, so I can’t feel your pain.
After life, my soul remains endless
I want my eulogy about what death brings.
Full of life no emptiness,
Evil surrounds everybody.
I can’t stand it
My daughter is a princess, enchanted.
Reincarnated as an eagle soaring up,
Life after death is euphoria....

Premium Member Age Four Comes Easily
I see age four
Standing in the long school hallway
By his lonesome

Exasperated preschool teacher three doors up, watching.
I know her hands are full with another four-year-old
Who is also a run away.

I introduce myself.
Ask who he is. He mumbles something I cannot hear.
His name badge tells me his name.

I ask where he is going. He says “My mama’s house.”
He takes my hand and walks with me.
Easy peasy....

Premium Member Peacock Spoke Midland Measy-Peasy
Giving peacock instructions was not at all easy
His version of English was the Midland Measy-peasy
By the time faerie finished her stomach was queasy
Did you understand? She asked the peacock, Teasy?

More instructions were taught by grasshopper Breezy
Teasy pretended to understand, shook his head easy.
Did none of the things on the list said faerie Cheesly.
Wishing he spoke different English than Midland Measy-Peasy....

*Image of To Obey by Pixabay. The Golden Rules Since childhood, you're told to, "Obey and you won't stray, do it this way and not that way, then life will not be hard." Easy-peasy makes the world a happier place in life, simply by following instructions. Happily, it goes on ... five syllables there add seven syllables here five more ~ happy now 2021 December 09 *2nd Place* Haibun- With A Message ~~charles messina: Judged 2021 December 17

How Do You Cope With Today?
How do you cope with today?
You can't ignore it -
It won't go away.
The kids all laugh and say,
"It's easy!"
But that's not true,
It's not easy-peasy.
When I was young,
Did I say the same?
Is that what I told the oldies
And played the game?
Maybe I did play it the same.
The day comes and the day goes,
And I have gotten oh so slow.
Kids just say, "Come along gramps, move it along!"
I think you just carry on.
'Cos how do you cope with today?
It just won't go away!...
