Fragrant new petals pirouette On stairways of blazed winds, rosette Meadows become a stage… As small ballerinas saunter Enchanting moonlight to linger, Ruffling on ferns arranged... For Susan's Contest :Your Favorite Tail Rhyme,Past or Present * New Poem*

The Ginko's golden leaves rustle
Tickled by easterly bustle
Flounce upon the straight limbs
So like a flirty lady dressed
In her long golden gown her best
Permanence or fun her whims

Branches sway in the dark cold breeze Moving like they were in a freeze Colorful they once were Their beauty puts me on my knees Never did they want to displease Dormant they are for sure

have I the right
to think all things are
products of conditions

past or present
in which direction
does the real self lie

how much of what
we create will be
our descendants' must-haves

ever seeking
meaning and purpose
will it be worth the price

change will make us
we will produce change
which will be the most true

Premium Member Sleep

It is a gift to close your eyes and sleep
To enjoy the healing balm of slumber
Slowly drifting away, lost in the deep
With no past or present to encumber
While dreaming winter dreams without number
Sleep's nothingness a special kind of bliss
From dusk to dawn the sweetest fairy kiss

Past Or Present

In memory I see his face, a young man enraged by pain
One way for him to vent his rage, me!
A young and fragile girl still clinging to what should be
A family torn apart, just how no one knows
Six children, four boys and two girls
Not enough love to go around, not enough at all you see
Tears shed for all was forgotten
Biolgical family I had, but not one at all

Past the Time

Past or present which to choose. something great is starting deep down in my soul.
thinking about the past wanting a better present. The thoughts blow my mind. To
wait for someone is like waiting for a storm to pass you don't kno when its going to
end. still I will never forget the past but ill always live in the present. just to pass
the time though ill think of the past of memorys buired deep, of my soul finding
peace.

Whipped

By her tongue, honey gold,
Tipped with steel lashes;
Eyes behold with narrowed ire,
Stinging welts; and crashes
Through the barrier of skin,
The naked perimeter fence,
A culture clashes in some
Past or present tense.
Substituting words to heal
With jackal-lipped unkindness,
Juxtaposing dark for light,
My love accepted blindness
At each and every stroke,
By her tongue, poison black;
I forgive and kiss her lips
For all the times she took it back.

ANGER

Self devourer
Bitter feelings
Ranging
From past or present incidents
Making you intense or dangerous.

Anger is danger
Always leaving you bitter
Your actions
Determines the end result
Either it better you or it bitter you
For every action, there's a ripple effect.

Anger
It disrupt your health
It disrupt your sense of reasoning
Furiously avenging
Without discernment
Leads to regression
Causing emotional distress
Control your anger, so you don't disrupt yourself.
