who know everything...

she chaperones her daughters on dates, sitting in the middle of boy’s car 
father is at the end of his patience, perched on a precarious parenting ledge
threatening to leave if her helicopter parenting goes much more far...

They sparred with knuckled fist, 
a father with unruly buck 
beside back door for violent ruck 
that stag was bound to win.

Young eyes that saw that vile display 
did not forget that horrid day,
and now know just how close 
that same scene could have been....

I allowed my children artistic decorating freedom
Weird how one has allowed her children the same courtesy
But curiously the other says her house is too nice to paint in
or use color of any kind apparently
