   Paralysis of the esophagus
     when occasioned by asparagus

   Can be frighteningly perilous
     and even worse, embarrass us

Much Malice In Dallas

Much Malice in Dallas

What opponents did do in Dallas,
Caused such a Seahawk paralysis;
Game abored;
Hardly scored;
Then they left with much malice.

Fear causes
paralysis.

Paralysis results in the absence of
feeling anything even
hurt.

Fear not hurt.

Snow Acrostrian

Beckoning fresh views and analysis,

Occasional snow, crystal clear and so bright,

Lively with purity, reversing paralysis,

Distinct, crude phenomenon with so much height.

Premium Member Winter

I don’t know if it is what
the cold does to us
or what we have in common
that makes the chill
sometimes a paralysis?
A wintry blast deep
inside of us—then the thought
that, perhaps, on some
frozen plane of existence
we are co-conspirators….

Giant teeth angrily ripping flesh
Maniacal laughter, internal screaming
Irregular heartbeats
Insane night terrors
Paralysis and yet…
Silent screams coming from somewhere

     too many choices
     whispered voices

     nervous breakdown
     brain shuts down

     lowered into the ground
     world yet goes ‘round

An icicle drips, drips
    its measured drops
  Plinkety-plink, plink, plink
    on my window, like rain

Each drip, every drop, a paralysis of time
Plinkety-plink, plink, plink, plink, plink, plink, plink
Will these cursed drops never end

She Sleeps

Light wind plays the curtain across her face
so tired
she feels the flick of it, and slits her eyes
just dusk
there is a wait and a cry from the hallway
and yet
light wind plays the curtain across her face
she sleeps
paralysis of a new mother the baby cries and still
she sleeps

Silent Killer

When it is mixed in food or drink,
It is odorless,colorless and tasteless,
And the symptoms of dose resemble,
those of bad fatal food poisoning...
It can also be given in smaller doses,
That produces subtler symptoms of
weakness,confusion and paralysis..

A hazy full moon sighs
As poets search
For her beauty
Lose it in
Syllabic paralysis
Stuttered
Alliteration
Conjures up images
Stolen
From magazine covers
A barn owl
Cherishes
Her shadows
Wolf eyes
Reflect her gaze
A silent lake
Swallows her
Apparition
As frogs
Recite
Her poetry

Premium Member Analysis is paralysis

Notice our consciousness has no centre,
shifting between head to toe as it likes,
each pore a door through which grace can enter,
bliss magnetism getting a million likes,
as ineffable rapture in heart spikes.
Some speak of heart and others of third eye;
all concepts deemed false since we wingless fly.
