floats 'pon upper air currents.....

I saw a perfect parallelogram
in the sky yesterday coming
back from the eye surgeon..

Those jet seem to pass so close
I don't see how they don't

No wooden-cross
parachute deployment awaits
where we held
not one another
but separate breaths
that lit the candle
which ushered in darkness
the only kept
promise our broken
home still fixates.
How do we square
this parallelogram,
hmm, Lassie?
Or is it simply a case of
que sera, sera, Sarah?
Lonely shore
A love story begins
On the soft, shimmering golden sand
A pink shell
A silent symphony
A solitary wave sings sad notes
Early dawn
Enchanting, misty lives
A shell, a wave in nascent harsh love

A silent dark wedding
A remembrance, an ecstasy

Dawn’s sunrise
with the ocean tide low
reveals new shells, like jewels aglow
Mollusk’s homes
recently vacated
just waiting to be excavated
Shapes and size
of wide variety
laid out as far as the eye can see
Rolling waves
will soon come to reclaim
these low-tide jewels of ocean fame

The sea waves
washing empty shells clean.
Laid in the sand, just where each should be.
The being
gone from inside the shell,
leaving colorful beauty behind.
In life's waves
we are born and we grow,
only to die and be lain to rest.
Our souls gone
from this now worthless shell,
leaving behind a unique story.

not to be reckoned with
fear, intimidation his domain.
In his prime,
many battles were fought,
hands stained with the blood of innocence.
Why? you ask,
a name had to be made,
for he who is feared is respected .
Time kills him,
a fight he can not win,
in his frail shell he awaits his death.

her imprecise vision
an array of ensign so diverse
Beautiful
devoid of deception
each one with its own story to tell
Just for her
they symbolize so much
the dawdling return of her eyesight

the shells became her all

The world does not need someone like you.
Go away.
Stay inside of your shell.
Do not come out for any reason.
Take your shell.
Go to another beach.
Stay where you are far out of my reach.

but she sprinkled scantily on me
