Secreted Jewels

We dared meet
in clandestine disguise
behind an overlay of water

Secreted
from watchful eyes peering
amid crystalline dancing droplets

Our first kiss
concealed from lurking eyes
extracting jewels of youthful joy

Rainbow arks,
captured floating crowning’s,
appearing and captivating gems

It seems this kiss was not remiss in putting your head in the clouds. It's nice when two can ronde view away from all the crowds. Spell checker wasn't much help with rondevue or what ever. :) Neither was dictionary. ahwwhhhhhh. :) Peace. :)

An interesting and inventive piece. I enjoyed reading it, and particularly liked the double meaning of "secreted" (hidden, or produced by glands, such as tear ducts.)

Never think that, Mark !!! Yours was well written and each person writes their own impressions on a theme. Remember that many contest sponsors look for the uniqueness in writes... chin up, now, it's just poetry !!! Loved your take on the theme !!
