Fallacy and Palsy
Fallacy and Palsy

In them we have often found a fallacy;
A big scare,
And not fair;
Shipping out someone who has palsy.

The child, age two, hammocked in the half
moon of his mother’s arms, is locked
in palsy, yet moves an eyelid as I ask,
moves the other as his mother answers,
application form interrogation.
The father was a white policeman.
“Curiosity,” the mother says. “No more.
I didn’t go with him for money.”

For the Lost
When a plaintive refrain Is heard in the mountains And palsy paints the rocks There are always nature’s Scattered notes of sympathy Like a bed of snowdrops Spilling into the valley Their trembling limbs Emerging from the frost Their white petals forming Lamps for the lost To find their way When the climb seems bleak And the path is lonely Through winter's dark forest.

Wht I Look At When My Better Self Sleeps
A good rifle or shotgun,
Kittens, pups, and Panda cubs.

In their sexy costumes,
and those joyful shuffle-dancing females
on You Tube.

as if I had
some kind of geriatric palsy....

Irresponsible Enemy
IRRESPONSIBLE ENEMY

When our tears drop
and stench fire around
us,
And fire's enemy
becomes otiose and
nugatory,
Then shall tears
backfire fire's enemy
And after a very scorch
sunshine
Telling ur the end of
those former days.

Then shall our eyelids
close in sorrow
But tears have wiped
away our sorrows
And our lions roaring in
joy
Marking the start of
new days
And the end to the
palsy-walsy....
