I’d hate to be a pachyderm,
My schnozzle such a wacky worm
That though I willed it slack or firm,
Each sneeze would really pack a squirm!...

Big as a house,
Scared of a mouse,
With nose that grows
Down to its toes.
Fearlessly drives tusk into dusky musk.
Wisely buggers-off from the likes of usk....

Then, pachyderm laughed till he cried
As he soaked the poor stork with his jets
And that was the last cork she tried
‘Cuz now the stork never forgets...

i like elephants you see
because they like me
their memories are long term
for our friends the pachyderm

mighty just and free
symbol of the GOP
strong with skin so thick
hard body built like brick

pink or white in shades of grey
with love of family they stay
uplifted trunks good fortunes for all
two types of ears big or small

tails so short and thin
large from Africa smaller are Indian
with tusk of ivory so diligent
big is big our friend elephant...
