Trumpcare
Trump gained considerable wealth
But it took a toll on his health
So all that Trump earned
Will be overturned
As doctors collect wealth by stealth!...

Home, a peaceful state of mind;
Indigestible, impossible to find;
Raging in a retched restlessness,
abstract visions, nothing tangible;
Every echo emerging swallowing me,
taking with it my overturned roots;
How can I find my way home?...

No More
84 people dead,
No regret said,
More critical, holding on,
Somebody’s partner, someone’s son.

France stands for liberty,
Which was wrought on Bastille Day,
When the people overturned,
The government who learned.

Don’t let religion in,
Pure democracy’s win,
Grit your teeth and hold on
To derogate ISIS and religion....

Death In the Sanctuary
Immortality looking invincible,
Athena's arpon arsing shadows,

Amazonite unfading Athenaeum species,
A lasting blade for an immortal legacies,

Fallacies befall the inconsistencies,
Fragrances crash the inconveniences...

Extinction of lives is overturned by heavenly bliss,
Angels are guardian spirits,

Humanity is saved,
Hell is dead....

My Quest
I rode a unicorn for miles,
And then a dragon flew me here.
The fairies took me to their queen,
Who introduced me to the seer.
He prophesised my kingdom’s fall,
But witches chanted, cast a spell;
Their magic overturned the curse.
My quest is over: all is well.
Still round the corner there may wait,
A new road or a secret gate.

* Last two lines are the Tolkien quote...

Beneath Mima's Canopy
Graying clouds, faces
Sprinkled with tears of sorrow...
Deepening thunders

Howling winds, braces
Buffeted by ghastly breath...
Trembling ropes and spikes

Blowing rains, vases
Overturned near grave diggers...
Strewn flower petals

Clearing skies, races
Blanketed the pink coffer...
Gifting her gray vault

Waning tears, faces
Leaked with canopy waters...
Tossing earth within...

Winedrunk
The end of our dreams
flow in shattered discord
like a wineglass overturned
In our fruitless searches
bereavement impales
as we pour the bottle on the floor
Watching each drop
collect and pool
swirling in bitter waves
Our tongues are stained
with that sweet taste
rose tinted
with hints of sage
and as our spirits rise
from a body so fine
they will pour us in our graves...

Sober Acceptance Gandg
unabashed analyzation
overturned rocks
and constant contemplations
an effortful acceptance
spurned out of desperation
gathers speed now flying
taking, ticking, tocking
the past once regretted
incomplete when forgotten
ambitious non-removal
ticking now, now tocking
can through such a fog
of dense perplexity
a life be shaken loose
can something take me
tick me, tock me...

Ephemera
You and I
 Are here and gone
In the breath of a lie
In the space of a song

 Overturned and reversed
By the force of a spell
In the lull of a curse
In the toll of a bell

 Instantly changed
 Sown or dispersed
 Our souls rearranged
 In a rueful dirge

You and I in the rain
 Without eye or limb
 Dislodged and deranged
 We move like the wind

Bitter Mosaic
Stretched to elasticity’s extreme…
nothing more to give;
like an overturned cup,
the nectar drained and dried
to granulated etchings on the rim.

What was that said
about a heart filled to the brim,
running over with love’s treasures?

A bitter heart leaks away
till after time and after tears,
grief’s blank mosaic tiles the floor,
and the steps of all who enter
echo in the dark.

Promises
In your deep gaze
   one day I dived up
   I felt the world overturned
on island of love woke up ...

   Your eyes dreamed reveries
but it had a distant glow
   in special strange world lived
   just a passerby sans soul.

  Your look made me captive
  for the promise made inactive
  innocuous offer did not succeed

it wasn't what it looked to be
  promised sweet paradise to me
but instead was hell and agony!...

Premium Member A Puzzled Piece
hands moving
one face
on a clock
tick
ticking in darkness
cold feelings
echoes reaching
out within silence
twisting insides
hurt upon
the soul

consuming insides
emotions overturned
darkness crawls
living in shadows
eating light
crushing deep
breaking up
into shattered pieces

sorting within
a jigsaw
with one
missing piece
still to be found
only love
takes away darkness
shining light
a puzzle
the piece
comes together
within a dream...

My Room
Bits of rubber, tape, and glue,
A bed that once looked very new.
Overstuffed shelves covered in dust,
Tables and chairs, creaky with rust.
Crumpled papers, an overturned lamp,
My dirty old covers, sweaty and damp.
Cardboard and glitter and paint and wire,
Several pieces of my dad's flat tire.
Banana peels, an apple core,
A half-eaten pizza on the floor.
A grilled cheese sandwich, moldy and green,
Maybe sometime I'll start to clean......

ALWAYS!
In God may I be a warmth for you on a cold cloudy day; Like an umbrella in the rain May I cover you always; May I embrace your heart's desires journey along your pathways; May I be overturned upside down umbrella to catch the heavenly Waters at Bay; Drenched we are saturated hearts, may God's waters Our Father continually rain; reign rain down on us ALWAYS!

Emotional Court
the judge presiding
over the emotional court
emotional judgment
final say fell upon deaf ears
jury of emotional peers
were gathered around
to witness the
lawyers argue their case
trial lasted only a few hours
till the jury made their deliberation
the verdict passed
down was a conviction of
guilty as charged on all accounts
sentenced to life with no parole
appealed the decision many times till one day they
overturned the emotional sentence...

Premium Member A Weirdy Cat Week
I would have less surprised if they had chased down religious mothers
And murdered them in their carpeted hymn singing churches
They were frenzied, fanatically incensed, a revved up mob
Brains had been overturned by the whip tongue of the outgoing czar.
Blood splatters on the pristine building left a fleshy carnage.
Who has the noose?
Where is the vice president?
Steal and loot. Plunder. Pillage.
An insurrection no one can be proud of, making it a weirdy cat week....

Vale To the Firefighters
Geoffrey Keaton, 32, and Andrew O’Dwyer, 36, both died when their fire truck overturned in the NSW fires.

Rest In Peace Australian heroes.

Vale to the Firefighters

Do you think there is a special place in heaven
For people who pass as heroes
Their names are written with pride
And should not be forgotten

Let their families find their peace
Knowing that they will be looked after
From a grateful nation
Holding them close to their hearts.

End of the Last Night
There is no need for a hug at the end of the night
Because there is no light in our hearts from you

With eyes that are always asleep
At night, your heart dreams of sleep
In the lap of the night, dreams are sleep

Your desire is in the sky
In this overturned tired heart, there is the fire of love

I fly to you every night
In the arms of sleep, I make dreams with you

At night, I get wrapped up in the sound of your gaze
Your eyes shine a light in my heart in the dark...
