Romantically symbolic for sure
Munch's metaphor takes the floor
here in the Dance of Life*
so many are especially rife
every
word
from
the
start
yet
i
shall
pluck
them
from
my
heart
every word
to
cleanse
the heart
once more
... lightning cracks sky's core
darkness slams down like trapdoor
all quiet, once more ...
Tarot batons rise
from a dimension detained-
Life will start once more.
*For Raul Moreno’s Tranquillity Contest
Hazy skies choke me
Eyes red unable to see
Coughing I stay in
Trades return to set me free
Kona winds blow south once more
The casualties of war
It shocks me
to the core
the
barbed wire fences
at your door
then
we ask
for peace
once more
once more
an open door
weathering yet
another storm
this place you hold
where forgiveness grows
like a tulip
in my soul
Summer
flows so quickly
into Autumn's yearning arms
like lovers
from a distant past
that finally meet once more.

Let time
Be your grave
He shall
Catch you
Like a wave
Time ignites
This flame,
Once more
Time greets you,
At this door
God is
a finely honed machine
You are born
just to be replaced
Your smile
will smile once more
But on someone else's face
In shadows cast by golden towers
Trump reclaims the stage once more
"Drill, Baby, Drill," the nation's power

Sipped one Pabst
Sobriety lapsed
Resolve collapsed
Resurrected
His checkered past
His fiancé aghast
Once more, outcast
Here you go again.
Antagonizing me.
Begging me to give in to you once more.
Influencing me with your charm.
There I go again...
Song of yesteryears,
played on radio today,
which had made us waltz;
moist eyes filled with memories:
felt you in my arms again.
Lord, This soul is melting
This moon is waning
Am I gravitating
Toward your door
Once more,
Are we the
Chosen
Pastels of flowers
oh to beginnings once more
light snow wedding day
lavender tulips rising
spring bride crowned in baby's breath
spring sprouts upon snow
hurt feelings a broken heart~
takes the form once more

Return to October
Yearn for my touch once more
Absolve my November transgressions
Navigate the seasons but anchor in me, in October
A dam cracks open,
no water,
no flood.
Mourning doves coo on,
dry feathers.
Once more a high tide
sweeps away
nothing at all.
Once more,? ?at close of day,
it gives me peace that I can say-
as I journeyed through the hours
I hurt no other along the way.
A loser once more.
Somehow, it happened again.
Oh so foolish me.
I thought I could win money.
History repeats itself.
carried by a tide of thoughts
a breath of warm wind and
...memories
I'm sailing once more
into your laughter where
smiles never die
TRUMPELSTILTSKIN
Weaves his selfish golden lies
As he yet again connives
To fool voters into electing him once more! ???????
Sitting in the dark
Nameless, you're frozen in time
Though lost, be reborn
Leave the safety of the cold
And fly for the sun once more
A wash of mist
incompletes the visible,
and yet
this morning
no eyes need definite
a world
being painted once more.
