We Ask For Peace Once More

The casualties of war
It shocks me
to the core
the
barbed wire fences
at your door
then
we ask
for peace
once more

I have enjoyed reading your poetry today and I am sure it will bring inspiration to another poet. I love poetry that is written from the heart as I believe that is where the best poetry comes from. I wish you a wonderful weekend filled with Love, Good Health and loads of Inspiration Gregory. Love, Carol
