Smiles

carried by a tide of thoughts
a breath of warm wind and
...memories
I'm sailing once more
into your laughter where
smiles never die

This is bittersweet. Your last couple of lines resonate with me and I can't help but yep, smile :)! Even more so when I saw my placement in your Gristmill contest. I am waaay late in thanking you, Craig, I'm so sorry but I got Swamped. Yet again, I felt compelled to write for it since I have never written about a gristmill. Your topic intrigued me as to where I could take it. My heartfelt thank you for the inspiration.I needed that since I hardly write. I am humbled to have placed that high. Again, thank you Craig :)
