Lost Eden’s eternity tree is found
In the gardens all around.
It’s just that we’re too blind to see,
His vision of eternity.
The wind may blow the old growth down.
But little sprouts will soon be found.
Or that same wind may gently put
A seed where it can soon take root.
God’s plan is wonderful and true.

The residents will soon be moving.
There is lots of miscellaneous and
still useable items.
Some old growth redwoods
and fishable seas, some
breathable air

Saturday, from 9-5, please,
no earlies.
Earth, the nearest cross-street
is Milky Way....

Fear of Trains
autumn rain is akin to black tea,
the burnt yellow of old growth watered;

a train shakes the fields like an old carpet snapping,
birds shoot holes in the turbulent sky;
the world is split like an apple,
your head inside a bell...

when it is over it is not over,
the air hums with steel,
too many eyes are in the undergrowth,
evening`s calm as brittle as toffee,
shocked from coal and smoke,
a heartbreath along rails....
