Bread Crumbs

Hiding in plain sight
Offerings infused with love
Wisdom never lost,
The bread crumbs to find me by
Should you wish me at your side

Unbareable Secrets

Dirty little secrets
Promise you wont tell?
Saving wishes
Breaking rules
Burnt offerings
Bloody bones
Guilty pleasures
Missing
Die exposed.

Premium Member Honeyed lies

The lies that touched your lips-
mellifluous offerings of honey
that drew me in like a bee,

How could one’s poison

Wimper to whisper
Shouts of pain to cries of joy
Summer fading fall
From maybe to absolute
Morning shift a sky blue way
The sun rose bright with
Necessary offerings

Premium Member Burnt Offerings

Shed a tear in empathy, but not in sorrow. Be contemplative though there be mourning. Let them be dead; they are at peace. You can still hope for new miracles.

Burnt Offerings

Scratching scraping bleeding panes...
Broken walls; marching through the halls

                                                "In progress." *

Desire

Crooked teeth love rings
Bloody nose offerings
Carpet burns shivering
My little bruised thing

You are mine

Eye vessels busted
Hidden skin welted
Your pulled hair twisted
Burning love cysted

My Reverie

offerings of the soul

 incense for the gods

 fragrent memories

 mixture of joy and tears

gathered tenderly

thru endless years

 time of quiet gratitude

moments spent with you

in my reverie

Premium Member Fishing

Like fish in a pond
we are often fed lines
baited with lures or hook
so tempting.

Offerings hung
from invisible threads
shimmering promises
so tempting.

Trust not glittering words
deadly snares
so tempting.

Requiem

silver fortress standing tall
golden secrets kept within
arid desert does surround
this perfect imperfection

treachery knocks upon the gate
armed with sweetest offerings
enters forth and loudly sings
a diabolical requiem

An Artic Vortex

Wisdom speaks in notes of light: If another hates
Their neighbour then truly they walk about, darkness
Having blinded their eyes heart to tongue; burnt offerings....
A winter's blast this altar so seeks ? Stripes, the millstone bleeds.

Premium Member Wolfling Beware the Offerings

Wolfling
beware the offerings

years of starvation
her impetus
broke free
she leapt past inhibitions of fear
the unknown
fell upon the feast
gorging writhing with sensation
belly full
she turned
just in time to see
herself trapped.

Untitled

Take down the photos
of rivers run dry
Throw out the offerings
to the gods of luck and time
Claw for the right words
Spit them out on the pavement
Carve this life into a home
Know you'll never want for comfort
Know you'll always be alone

Autumn

Et certa to summer
How i wait for its end
within its lonely languid silhouette's
Its all about Autumn
with its temporal musk
and last fledged bloom
within an epiphany
a bonfire to attest,
ashes to dust
we celebrate in such offerings

On the Verge of April

The twigs of March drip,
and dangle ~ late in the day,
birdsong returns
as if from the dead.
New veins leach in the leaf
sap-sweet offerings.
Earth worms curl in oracle rings,
rise up from the mud,
and nurse the wet soil
as it gives birth.
