Let It Go Let Go
Let it go
Let go already
Live for today
Not for yesterday
Obsessing over things past
Just brings distress into the present...

I Love You
I love you

Let's face it, I do
Obviously you have no idea
Veiled and masked away
Enveloped in secret I am

You I love and no one else
Obsessing over you
Understand that I really do and I wonder if you do too...

Audrey Lorde Poet
Wow girl
I speak your soul
riding the winds
of intuitions
writing fiercely
flowing ambitions
womanhood embracing
sexually obsessing
mindful not
of seasons raging
pen at hand
for me to see
your heart
ope with bleeding...

Some Things Should Be Stressing
Some Things Should Be Stressing

Some things we should be stressing;
Go ahead and count every blessing;
Market drop;
Hope will stop,
And worrying as well as obsessing.

Jim Horn

Can't believe what is happening to
the stock market and all the bad
bit by bit....

Tide Started To Change
Tide Started To Change

Although tide may start to change,
What we should do is re-arrange,
Our lives and love start stressing,
Not obsessing and others impressing.
Will appear normal and never strange.

Bourbon
Just a thought
Well maybe not a thought
Maybe she was a dream
She was in my dream
She was real
I think she was real
Are those stars
Those must be your eyes
Where did you come from
You must be heaven sent
I sit alone not obsessing
Taking in your graceful beauty
Realizing I had not drank my Bourbon...

Oh Girl, Beloved
OH GIRL BELOVED, INHALE DEEPLY AND THEN RELEASE
GET OUT OF GOD’S WAY. STOP OBSTRUCTING YOUR OWN PEACE

OH GIRL BELOVED, IF OBSESSING IS WHAT YOU MUST DO
TAKE UP THE LORD’S CROSS. TIME TO TRY SOMETHING NEW

OH GIRL BELOVED, THIS DAY IS NOT AS THE SAME
THERE IS DELIVERANCE FOR YOU, AND INDEED, HOPE KNOWS YOUR NAME...

a lot of so called ladies say us men have dirty minds. maybe these ladies have dirtier minds because they're alway's obsessing about how men do. maybe these so called ladies minds aren't dirty enough! (no, i'm not totally anti feminist). I've met so called good girls with bad hearts and I've met bad girls with good hearts....

Perception
perception is not 9/10ths of the law
possession is the thing that counts
it is your perception that I'm
obsessing about the possession you have got

from the conception I wanted to be the possession
but all of my perceptions were wrong
because of deception there were some preconceptions
that my extrasensory perception failed to catch...

The Music Goes Round and Round
If today were the day to end all days,
What would you be doing?
Grasping
Clinging
Charging
Crying
Obsessing
Moaning
Groaning
Complaining
Criticizing
Judging
Organizing
Proselytizing
Compromising
Realizing
Sizing
Laughing
Cheering
Eating
Drinking
Singing
Smiling
Praying
Creating
Goodbye-ing

Could I really be your one and only true love,
Your most important person around?
Never needing anyone else in your life,
Obsessing as though you’re spell bound.
Spell bound with my wit and my beauty,
Utilizing my pure perfection.
Run away with me, now, forever more,
Embodiment of my mirrored reflection.

Acrostic rhyme for the Cynosure contest....

Premium Member We Will Have the Blessing--NOW

Mama’s Thanksgiving plans went awry. Football lovers might understand why. Mama called for the blessing. Everyone was obsessing over touchdowns. Mom uttered a sigh. “Keep the food warm till two,” Daddy said. A huge turkey leg glanced off his head. To the table, all scurried, for they’d grown rather worried Mama might next be hurling the bread.

Premium Member Trying To Be Less Type A
Balance to me means to try and be less Type A
To stop obsessing over things I cannot change
Balance to me means not to play all weekend.
I am so Type A during the week that I feel I deserve it.
Balance is something I do not do well.
I am obsessive and compulsive, so balance would be fantastic.
But it is something I have to try too hard to do.
I fail at it miserably, being Type A....

Thoughts of Suicide
the weeks creep by
i find myself obsessing
about ways i can die
i cut my arms with a razor blade
get over it this is how i was made
to dull the pain inside
i don't want to be alive
which way is the best
to prove that finally test
after the fact i'm dead
no more thoughts running through my head
thanks for joining my diely game
my soul that you never can be tamed
now i'm six feet below...

I Need Her Love So Badly
I need her love so badly
I have fallen for her madly
And though she tells me
She is mine till eternity
I am so insecure
I do not no for sure
If I tell her of my distrust
I will warrant her disgust
Though I am riddled with self doubt
She will only pout
Why must I doubt her?
Why can’t I believe her?
I should count my blessings
Instead of self obsessing
I have fallen for her madly
I need her love so badly...

Premium Member A Cavalcade Rondine
A cavalcade of savage singing lights
whip worshippers of ultraviolet;
Indulging the most hedonistic threat
they raise hooks to meritorious heights;
DJ’s entourage being read last rites
at the end of that set they won’t forget;
A cavalcade;
The swollen witching hour synthetic bites
direct reckless dancers to a sure bet;
Inarticulate’s the best you can get;
Obsessing over complicated fights,
a cavalcade....

Addiction
I have an addiction
Refused it at first
Rage exceeded
Wanted, needed, anxious
I have an addiction
Broken before
Yet again
Irresistible, uncontrollable, required
I have an addiction
Habit now
Obsessing everyday, dependency
Compulsion turns to lust
Desires weaken me
Appetite becomes insanity
Absorbing into my body
Intense, extreme, comfortable
Finally, realizing it is true
I have an addiction
I am addicted to…...

Premium Member Thanks for the Past Couple of Years
Here’s an extra-large thank you to Israel and Ukraine
who have fought the West’s wars for them
holding Iran and its proxies, and Putin’s Russia at bay

Imagine if Putin was now attacking the Baltics or Poland
or if Jerusalem and Israel, Iran had overrun

Of course, then the West could stop obsessing about gender and race
as criminal regimes spat missiles and drones in her soft, fleshy face

Free Yourself
You have the ability to free yourself at anytime.
Stop treating yourself like you've committed a crime.
Stop beating yourself up for what could have been.
Stop obsessing over what can't be seen.
To free yourself, you allow.
You live in the now.
You flow.
You let go.
Choose gratitude.
Now that's the attitude.
That can change any mood.
Allow you to feel renewed.
Remember it's all about how you feel.
From this your world will reveal....

Addiction/Love
What does it mean when i cant stop thinking about someone?
What does it mean when i am obsessing?
paranoid they dont love me in return?
aching to be around them?
to smell their scent of something .....something...
beautiful, primal, instinctual, a need to have.
nothing will satisfy the "need" to have them NOW and in the future.

Is then when i purchase her with a ring?
Own her sexuality till death do we part.
I must own her.... forever........

Premium Member Love Jones
Love jones, love jones. I’ve got a love jones for that guy.
Obsessing over him both day and night am I,
Visualizing him with me, we’re flying in the sky.
Effervescent I’d be feeling (were it true). I’d be on a high!

Jazzy music playing – we’d next be dancing slow,
Only he and I together in a sensual tango.
No one else is on my mind. Oh, I want him so!
Every little thing about him makes my fondness grow.
Sugared kisses from that sweet boy - how I wish I’d come to know....
