Forevermore

Gazing past the oblong glass I understand profoundly this beauty...
Broken heart's this beauty, in sorrowful eyes; priceless precious lives.

Pumpkins

Fat, oblong, rotund, roly poly
elongated, flawed, stubby,
dented, dusty, malformed
oranges globes - scattered
helter skelter - in rows
of farmers' fields...

Deep Inner Meaning

Hue and cry roadmap
totem sign or lachrymose
knee-deep self compass
wading bird of psychic lull
being is a misty quest
that oblong pointer centred
on some phantom bridge

Distorted View On Main Street

Looking at my reflection
In a pool of water,
my face appeared oblong
as the quivering breeze
created ripples across the surface,
for a moment as I pondered
I spy a glimpse of the future,
looking up at me!

Kalihta

Put your fingers into kalihi*,
Kalihta.

There is nothing there.
But it is so beautiful.
Your fingers – kalihi…
A fresco.
It remained of ???ss??**
in a boundless sea.

And my eyes.

*a kind of an oblong goblet of
Late Minoan epoch
** Knossos – a great archaeological site in Greece

Pebbles 2 Amended

In the street I found you
oblong pebble
Where did you hail from
an outcrop or some bizarre barrier reef
I let you chalk
to all the lost and lonely

I love you like Jah
I cannot bare any flowers in my seed bed
I lay you in the mud
chlorosis of zinc and potassium
unpurifying the London Waters

Peeble

In the street I found you
oblong pebble
Where did you hail from
an outcrop or some bizarre barrier reef
I chalk on you
all the lost and lonely

I love you like Jah
I cannot bare any flowers in my seed bed
I lay you in the mud
goodbye zinc and potassium
Pontificate the London Waters
when I'm brewing a cuppa

remembering my granny glasses

Did you have granny glasses with peace signs?
I pause, thinking, trying to remember.
I know that I had three pairs in the late sixties.
My favorite ones had square blue lenses.
Another one had smaller oblong lenses, which were green.
The third pair had round red lenses.
I could not see out of them well, but they were fun to have.

Birdfood

the seed caste onto the stone, and
in seed it is on it's own
never to stretch root, or
finding the thinnest stress to
break through

to
pregnant ground and
soda

the seed caste onto the stone

though no shape will it ever go
oblong roll along a stony
song
until it is split sent into the high-
flyed sky

and sent again
to descend
from the
gods

The Bridge Sur Scene

Stone of Destiny

The Coronation Stone –
 artefact of biblical Jacob.
The magic powers of this stone
 will enhance your throne.

The slab was broken and repaired,
but will the crack on the kingdom be entailed.
Did the powers left the stone,
when they broke it with the scorn.

Was it power of the Ark
 or the undiscovered quark
in that oblong block of sandstone –
 relic past.

It's Not Byron's Fault, Anyway

Byron didn't wait for me.
Across the hall Becky tried not to look.
Chalk was everywhere.
Knuckles was already suspended.
Trailing the varsity jackets I
Oscillated between chic and irreverent.
Someone yelled, "barf!"
Charades and hustlers cover every inch.
How am I going to find my locker?
Oswald points me to "304."
Oblong and wrong I walk there.
Looking forward, looking backward.

Unfurnished Mind

Oblong,
curved,
rectangular,
squared,
circular,
spherical,
hexagonal,
cubical,
and traingular,
these were and several others,
the shapes,
of millions,
of partitions in my memory,
I was looking to fit ideas of shapes similar,
but fits were far and wide,
I needed to stock likes and alikes,
but all lay strewn,
harried and troubled,
I had to admit,
that I had an unfurnished mind.

The Exorcist

Tinseled reflexives....

Emitting from this oblong box

As manifest projections

Exploding in reversions sky ~

Stardust as dreamfuls walking through

This clearing, of magicals illusions....

Knocking upon fates hinged door

To dust away these breathless webs

Sweeping out the silence upon

Reveilles inverted request....

********************************

Ruckus Me Ruckus

my name is the ruckus and i am sure
to bruise and clot all hemoglobin,

turn bright to dark red, metal to rust,
rain and mud in a season,

i'll reckon to smash a oblong pigskin through
some lines and create a british rumpus,
a proper ructioning, ruckus.

then maybe i'll spit some dark blood out the
side of old an black and white photograph.
cause i am the original ruckus.. ruckus..

Remnant Remains

As she sat in the bleachers
Same people, different place
Whitney is on the screen
But in a different...phase !?!

Fame has gone without a glitch
Unrecognizable, can't be fixed

Killing is normal
Living is wrong
Helping foes
Days oblong

No rhyme to reason
No flow for the river
Hurting babies
No cause for shivers

Dead...all is dead
The soul is breed

...gotta get out

Creature Visit

came from the door
and it's creeping up here
now it passes between my bare feet
lift the head and look at me
the small and sad eyes
of those who feel despised
the oblong and scaly body
of unclassified creatures
I gently push with my foot
goes towards the wall
return
lean on me again
I don't have the heat these things need
there's a rest of the sun outside
so I extend my hand
I take it carefully
time to walk the soul

Life Book

Balance the sky on a twig from the tree
If the twig snaps or falls
The sky will tumble onto us

Bumping our heads and waking us up
From our life long sleep
That we think is a life of memories
Yet unlived but recollected

From the earliest times and days
We follow the oblong path
Each corner is the same
Just like we are the same

Why is it this way?
You wrote the book of life
So tell me now

Who Am I Really

Where do I draw the line when mindless doodles make up the pages of my empty book?
I seem to sketch the same things, but still I can’t carefully capture the images that hastily rush to leave my fingertips.
Shapes not straight, circles to oblong, proportions way off and have never bothered with guidelines.
The repetitiveness is revealing, yet there is no connection to dots or dashes.
I am told I must know this stuff so
I’m ok to pretend I do.

Hope's Renewal

Tree-finger enchantments
   Shimmer pedantic staccato;
Violinist plucked
   Long-tails, blue in snow,
      Bewitched no longer, frolic.
   Embrace Poseidon.
Whisper labyrinths cool to the wake.
East, I see an oblong ship pirouette
    Charging from Olympus…on fire,
        Shadowy Everests migrate west;
    Crisped saltines crumbled by guilt
       Whose silent peaks rejoice:
How beautiful the clouds swim in sunrise sky.

Sitting Atop Time's Pumpkin Patch

You spend many years amid some crowd their world
Marking time about shadows ? Wanting, myself to react
Perhaps spin a loop or two and nucleus how they dig it when
We loose these bolts take another bite out of Jane as Joey's tune....
Knowing there is no veneer to this child albeit volatile his, multiplex flesh
Ever transmitting, revulsive frequencies ? Rhinestone reflections colourless glass
Warped mirrors oblong shores; revolving doors phantom dreams ? In reveille.

Mister P and Mister G

Mister P
My puppy
One day met
One odd pet!
With a swell
Sticky smell
Zigzag wags
Tails play tag
Yipped, to say
"How's your day?"
Answered bleat,
"It's been neat!"
Cocked his head
Strangely said!
What dog talks
Without barks?
Short legs pump
Bouncy jumps
Lots of spots
Polka dots
Eyes like girls'
Blue marbles
Chin unsheared
Old-man beard
Oblong jaws
Cloven paws
He's no joke
Mister Goat!

Hummingbirds

From the wrought iron gables
the oblong hummingbird feeder dangles
shiny plastic, strawberry lip-gloss red.
It sways above my grandmother’s head
as she watches their vibrating wings.

She rests at the kitchen sink,
puts down her dishtowel, and smiles.
I want to ask if she is tired of housewifely trials,
but the cat leaps to the window, hissing,
waking my grandmother from her reminiscing.

She goes back to the dirty dishes, alone;
silence is the new partner in her half-empty home.
