A dog,
A backpack,
A guitar,
A walk on a Arkansas Highway.

Weather warm, dry,
Few clouds in the sky,
This was his world,
Today.

read leisurely in freedom’s bliss,

PARADOX

Heed then the paradox
Riot running out-of-the-box
Pain in the bitter detox
Contagious as small pox

The Mouse

Coming out the house
I saw a mouse
Dead in my basket
So i made a casket
Burying the little one
I became number 1
To do this day
What others would delay
And Eventually throw
away.

Snippet Number 1

My subconscious mind reminds me
thoughts of you still linger
Trying to forget the feel of you,
but these thoughts of mine
recollect without permission
Causing a slow submission to my
mental addiction

Deadly Sin Number 1

Lust: To be enamoured with rust.

The way that the seasons stand
Upon the shoulders of those
That came before.

In the end always toppling into winter,
As anything found in death
Must to death return.

Frozen In Crystalline - Number 1

Hidden in airy snow harsh and cold, yet a warm glow where love does grow.

Wanted Accord

Wanted accord:
A better World
With less sweet word-
Voids of terror.

Safety for all:
Shield from sad fall;
For short and tall-
Halt this horror.

Tonight, whilst I dream,
In the midst of becoming mist,
Sighing I wish you were there.
Your eyes appear beside me,
Their blue spark delight.
Your hair between my fingers roam,
I move into the movement.

I Am a 6

From a peaceful flow
The river waters fall down
Crash, churn, hit the depths, then go.

Passing through my bank
I feel its meditation
And see its past free of woes.

No Tower of Babble Now

Good Morning Night Owl.
Why do we leave the light on?
Where the Lamp-post sheds its skin.
The Trumpet pours, the passion flour.
Our constitution is number 1.
A dustless preamble.
Borderline masonry must not crumble.

A truck driver passes through
a hole in the sky

His rig self inclusive,

Eighteen wheels of redemption,

Death Number 1

I am jealous of death
its resolute presence and confident action
Its darkened cool and its infinite existence

When I pass like whispered winds in forgotten winters
death will sullenly play its monotone mandolin of time
...expecting no one to listen

Life

We are all chess pieces,
in this game we call life,
only trying to move forward,
through all the strife,
jumping on those,
who get in our way,
only pushing forward,
as we play,
be number #1,
we've always been told,
even as our hearts,
grow weary and cold.

Nostalgia

Old
    fashioned
    courtesies,
    from days gone by.
On their first date, trying hard to impress.
Dressed up in glad rags, to travel in style,
    down lovers lane.
    Where one kiss,
    is pure
    bliss.
