Venetian Sebastion Ricci
collaborated with nephew Marco you see
Making decorative painting its best
& seascapes with fantastic zest
floating over the forest trees
was for my nephew a breeze
as he floated past
a shadow he cast
I promptly yelled “put down your knees!”
Canaetto's nephew was Bernardo Belotto
Venice famiy problems made him go
He became painter in Warsaw
his single perspective was major flaw
My nephew;
my baby;
my big boy;
my sweetheart;
my stinker;
my life;
my waking up all night;
my honey;
my buddy;
my forever;
my always;
my life;
My nephew.
Oh dear, I just realized what I could do,
with the Hungry Caterpillar plushy,
enveloped by paper, for my cute new
nephew. He’ll learn to spell his name by three.
It made my day
To see you smile
I want to cry
As day by day
You get bigger
You stuck out your tongue
Opened your big blue eyes
My little nephew
I sure do love you
Gargle with jelly
Said my little nephew lenny
While making car noises
Watching the Tele
Wanted to try it but he wouldn't let me
So I got a big stick and poked his fat belly
My nephew whose first name is Dennis
With ladies he loves to play tennis
But he is so fickle
Their tonsils he’ll tickle
Young Dennis is a truly a menace!

Dearheart
You precious little thing
Tiny in my arms
Small and fragile
I think I’ve met you somewhere before
There is a quiet knowing between us
An unspoken bond
Hello old friend
It’s nice to see you again
Form:
The women who you call your mother
She is not necessarily the same for me
I am her faithful brother –in- law
So by the relation i am your lovely uncle
And you are my cute nephew
Please, don’t ask me to worship her.
.
Behold a poet
rebounding yet again from
another death
Nephew to the poet
die he did
"once"
saith Jehovah
never again

Three strangers visited me today,
each one a little sadness in their eyes
nephew, niece, a wife is who they say.
I stare while faces say their short goodbyes.
Fresh strangers will later bring me tea
and tell me that my name is Rosalee.

Frightening witches are scary, ghost and ghouls are all a wreck.
Horrible gargoyles and vampires will bite your little neck.
My four-year-old nephew shushed me. I thought what the heck?
You are scaring the jack-o-lanterns," He said. “Stop Uncle Beck!"
the snow is nice and cool
when there is a lot I stay home from school
tubing with my brother,
getting yelled at for it by my mother
making snowmen with my nephew
if I stay out to long I turn blue
the snow glistens in the sun,
Oh isn't winter fun
shipbuilder’s nephew
. . . . flotsam and jetsam of culture
drifted and piled haphazard
a finger-drawn life structure
while all the smells of fish and wrack
and shipwrecks linger anew
around this jumbled stack
a shipbuilder’s nephew . . . .
Loving sighs and lullabies and kissing you goodnight
Loving you as you love me and keeping you in sight
Gum in hair and spilled milk scares
and teaching you to turn on the light
My bond with you means so much,
yet I've run out of things to write.

Tho half a gem this tome may be
My poems inside shine bright for thee
A father’s love, the greatest joy
God’s special gift, your little boy
*author’s note:
A book of mine my nephew ordered
arrived with half the content!
My nephew Sammy
is sweet, smart, and talented.
Three dogs are his “kids”
whose ears get dyed cute colors.
They go everywhere with him.
My nephew came out
about the fact he is gay
on his Facebook page.
I’m sure his announcement was
was no surprise to anyone!
Can you see me?
Skin dark,
Eyes brown,
Blood Red
Anger has shown.
I am someone's
Son, nephew, grandchild
Even in a world so cruel
Where violence is everywhere.
Can you see me?
A man with a heart
Not my skin color
Or my class
But see me as a human being.

Her nephew on the farm Punky Spuky tried to milk a donkey
Other cousin Cindy Dingy loved chocolate Twinkies™

Ask for life's best,
Taste love each day;
Keep your fond zest,
Intent moves play;
Now live fine quest.
Take time to live,
Apt happy fest;
Note joy you give.
