One
White cloud
Drifting high
In a blue sky
Blowing, distant winds
The sun above the earth
Below with fields of grain
Waving slow in a gentle breeze
The sun shines down on the golden sea
The sky empty except for one white cloud
The summer sun has gone into hiding
leaving us with these cloud covered skies.
The west bound breeze is cold and damp.
Happy moods are dampened too.
Clouds equal depression
as sun equals joy.
Gone just one day,
I miss it.
Come back
sun.
A new day, sparkling and wet
Droplets left behind to shine
As the sun breaks through
Though the storm was welcome
Washing everything away
Making the world fresh again
Taking with it pain and worries
A lingering scent
Still a thickness in the air
A thrill of excitement
As the sun comes up
Shedding light on the world
Clean again
...i'm cold maybe by stretching i can recieve affection from the sun look out here i
come still feeling weak i might be able to catch something to eat now full i find
myself wet asking the sun for a pet to dry my eyes so i can see my children laying at
my side watching them grow old is really fun when i'm only a tree that seeded them
free..

Darkness engulfs the city street.
Up above the moons unfurled.
Street lights gleam on concrete.
Shadows haunt the darkened world.
Stars speckled upon the sky.
The sun retreats and says goodbye.
Painting shades of black and grey.
Until we wake the next day.
The sun will wipe the pallet clean.
I will see another beautiful scene.
The sun set like a fireball but invisible
Clouds had the it hidden from view
So the sun won the battle
Casting the whole western cloudy sky red
Even clouds wrapped to the northeast paled pink
Beauty for humans ~ animals? to behold
Blessings to end the day, excitement at God's paintbrush
Thank you God for your love and bounty
Cody came home yesterday!
That sunrise that we so admire
is the same sunset adored on high
from the other side of that skyline
underneath our one and the same sky.
To the same sun we say hello
in the glorious burst of fresh morning;
to the same sun we bid goodbye
in the afterglow there crimsoning!
The sleepy sun sinks
Beneath the gray blanket
Of the restless waves
But the earth doesn’t rest
Shadowed shapes linger by the shore
Watching the glowing “good night”
Silhouettes entwine in the twilight
And drift along the sandy beach
The sun winks
And blinks one last time
Then all fades to black and gray
The murmur of the waves
And the whispers of love
Are all that can be heard
Where we hail home, our native land
The sun rises in the east
Our harsh winters here
Make the sun impossible to beam
Come winter's end
When everyone emerges
To welcome in the spring
The sunrise is brilliant
From one extreme to the next
Through winter's cold
And spring's stare
My sunrise is to remember
Won 1st. place

Good Morning!
Radiant and bright soleil;
reveals what darkness conceal'
Brilliant sun shines horizon;
sky filled with hues of crimzon
Rays of sun touch the earth;
dew drop' buds, birds churp.
Crisp and fresh mist in the air;
gentle caress as a mother's care.
Blossoming buds, humming bees;
streched wings of wandering geese.
Tweets birdie Good Morning!
happy singing and churping.

The sun rose bright red not a dark cloud in sight
Few whispy cotton clouds spread around blue sky
Redtail Hawk in sky left nest for morning flight
On those cold air currents he did swiftly fly
Door was opened by east north easterly wind
Letting out illness, death, want_then in comes health
The sun set covered in dense clouds_cold its shroud
Will it rise in morn purple horizon proud
I lay my head on gentle cloud,
so charming is this delight.
Warm breezes all around me,
caring me closer into the sky.
As I look down at my pillow,
below me, seeing the green valley
that surrounds the beauty,
of the flowers speaking softly to me.
I lay my tired body down,
as the sun goes to sleep,
I cover my self,
with these cool clouds,
like the sun I
drift off into a
far away land, so
peaceful, so gentle.

Hushed morning.....
A winter scene from my bedroom window
of soft pearled fields sloping to the sea
Rose hips, blood red with white frosting
Naked branches as snow falls from bough to bough
Pale melon sun shines, as a thaw struggles in
A steel grey sky mirrors a stilled ocean
Shadows of Spruce elongate the milk carpet
Pistachio ivy clings to the tree trunks
freezing fog lingers, the feeble sun waning
as a blackbird hops, mirabelle beak pecking
As rain washes away the darkness of the prior night
The morning showers pay tribute to the maestro with beat
As the sun waits for its chance to contribute to the melody
The curtain of the clouds sways with each sounding resonation
Upon the break of the clouds, as curtains then open
The sun makes a grand entrance, intensified by lingering drops
As if each drop was a drum sound representing a footstep
Of the sun moving forward to take the center stage
A walk through the woods
Can lead you anywhere,
A magical place under ground,
Or maybe in the air.
I always seem to end up
In the same place,
Looking at the sun,
Right in its face.
But it's not the sun that gives
You warmth on the outside,
But the sun that gives
You the warmth on the inside.
It fills you with happiness,
With glee!
Just this sun
And me.
All around me,
Butterflies and bees,
What a great time
When there's a sunset in the trees!

Dusk...
Twilight
comes creeping
with pastel paints,
on sky, its canvas.
The graffiti artist.
Nature's splashes of colour
creating an abstract mural
envied by the most famous artists.
Dusk, the painter, nightly displays her art.
As the setting sun sinks behind the lake
the bright glow of a sinking fireball
distracts the eye from pastel hues.
As the sun seemingly sinks
into the blue water
the violet sky
draws the eye back
to colours,
vivid.
...Dusk
The sun does sit so low,
Over the bare English premise,
As the swallows lark before the snow,
Swift, gracious, cutting air with ease.
The air and wind bite the rosie cheeks,
Beautiful sun sets and rise’s on grey,
Moisture hangs in the air and drags over the peeks,
As the darkness creeps in earlier every day.
The dim glow of lights in every house,
You can feel the warmth, the love,
Sharing the year’s crop, feed the poor,
‘tis the season, the sun will die, then rise above.
