Night To Light

Darkness engulfs the city street.     Up above the moons unfurled.  Street lights gleam on concrete. Shadows haunt the darkened world.   Stars speckled upon the sky.  The sun retreats and says goodbye.   Painting shades of black and grey.  Until we wake the next day.  The sun will wipe the pallet clean.  I will see another beautiful scene.

This poem is smooth and well worded. Also the rhymes are there, but not really forced which makes this pleasing to the inner monologue. Thanks for the read
