I Miss It

The summer sun has gone into hiding leaving us with these cloud covered skies. The west bound breeze is cold and damp. Happy moods are dampened too. Clouds equal depression as sun equals joy. Gone just one day, I miss it. Come back sun.

The sun sure lifts people Francine, and many a person dives into the abyss of gloom when it goes. Fine Etheree, have a lovely weekend :)

Francine, some days I think you and I must be so much alike. I almost worship the sun, it gives me such a high. And the past few days have been heartless to me. Love this poem. Great etheree. BTW, thanks for the congrats. I saw I had a win in my member area, but had no way to figure out for WHAT until I saw it was for my haiku in Brian's contest. gosh, i wish his contests appeared on front page so we could all follow them better. For sure I will check out THESE winners.
