Like the universe has to be
Equal parts good and evil
Like neutral is it's natural state
And all morally charged phenomenon
Must cancel each-other out 

They justify evil this way
But who knows whether
The universe might be 
Sick to its stomach
From all the sugar
Whether it might benefit 
From proper nutrition
Like the rest of us...

the younger 
I've become.
It took me years,
to get this young.

Appearances,
may seem,
that I do age,
but younger I grow,
by the day.
For I am youth,
in its prime,
unwriting all the,
rules of time.
Continuing until,
all is erased,

Crystal orbs reflect what is in the sky.
No way out; I'm forever trapped inside.
Sealed up tight with no place within to pry.
Light of day, dark of night a true divide.

Deep within me a darkened furry grows.
A natural state of true deception. 
A piece of mind no other knows.
Weaned off my warped perception.

I'm in a frenzy now, I must escape!
She calms me with her faith in lies.
Time to flee but time too late.
I am the prisoner within her eyes....

Missing Forests

My forests are missing.  Can you help?
I put them to bed last night
When I awoke my trees were not there
Concrete filled in the place where they had been
Surely I’ll cry if they’re not returned
Perhaps they burned….to death
Did someone cap them?
Was it Christmas greed that took my trees?
Was it global warming or goblins without warning?
Whoever stole them put them back!
To their natural state
Or I will call you nasty names
And simply have to wait...

    at CARNAGIE HALL
 It was great!

which lead to despair

When I was a kid, pistachios
Had shells they dyed bright red
And sure enough, that color
To your fingers quickly spread.

It didn’t wash off easily,
But left a tell-tale clue
About what you’d been snacking on,
That bright red proof on view.

Today, I cracked pistachios
And wondered, as I ate,
Why someone once decided
To disguise their natural state.

No matter why, that dye is gone – 
Red fingers not the answer.
For all we know, pistachios
With dye might have caused cancer.
