Wind Chimes
Soft gentle winds
Wind chimes dancing
So gracefully
Heavenly melodies
Surrounded by eurphoria
Tree leaves swinging in motion
Along with the wind chimes
Tranquility arises by an orchestra
Narrated by soft gentle winds
Captured by bliss

The essence of serenity
Soothing is the soul...

Flowery Gore
That child,
looking like flowered rose,
had a rose in hand,
he smirked,
he smelled,
he shook,
and the crook,
finally wrung,
it all,
to smithreens,
with petals,
and sepals,
all strewn,
and flowery powder,
all smeared,
in his gory hands,
did he like the flower,
or the destruction more,
his story narrated all,
in the flowery gore....

Broken Poet Story
you tore that letter
in which we told the situation

never loved anyone except you
We used to torture all the people before you.

You didn't even feel that person
Whose feelings we had narrated

Well leave it, where will you understand those stories
what we hid all along

Tell me why you tore that letter
in which we told the situation...

The Strange Longing of a Contented Man
I wonder
if all the poetry is gone.
I've stolen from fiction
and narrated outlandish
but rational thoughts.

Where is the poetry?
So grounded am I
in acceptable habit I call
happiness that
the dancing doesn't come.

I don't see the longing posture of the trees,
and calcified the sad
memories. I almost want them back.
Maybe I need
another broken heart....

Voice of My Father
Loud,strong and audible from far,
His voice is of a professor
Who had taught a large number,
And it belongs to my father.

The voice that once narrated stories
To put me to sleep all night.
The noise that now awakens
And brings me to daylight.

The tone of love that cares for me,
The one that prays for my welfare,
Making me feel safe and secure
And which I wish to hear forever....

Memory
She tries to call back her memories
Not for fun or feeling nostalgic
Not for a passive recollection
She lost it completely all of a sudden
All she know about herself now is what others said
Which is unacceptable to her for sure
They narrated their perspective of her
But what she want is her trueself
No cell in her body remembers the new girl
And she immensely search it for the proper order of hers...

Four Point Seven: Morph
A song is a poem that seized its opportunity to fly
A dance is a close-lipped soliloquy narrated by vigor
A story is a word with blazing sentiments that can't die
Every mastery is a tenacious failure

A laugh is a smile learning to be an extrovert
A noise is a whisper that couldn't stay in its zone
A race is a walk with ambitions it won't desert
Those who crawl out of their shell become full-blown

Premium Member Vignette-Charles Dicken's Classics
There was a great English novelist I truly admired since my vibrant youth,
and his name was Charles Dickens; and his classics I read and revered.
He wrote many memorable novels, and one of them, filled with truth,
was: "A CHRISTMAS CAROL", which he splendidly narrated...
as those London's bells tolled above a foggy, busy Avenue.

Premium Member Immaculate Invasion
Immaculate invasion in a cryptic, tiptoe way
Emulating doves while landing - soft and understated
Gaze upon one bright star in the sky's celestial lay
Entranced, some shepherds see a host, hear glory's tale narrated
Deception? No, for prophecies were made in ancient day
Now child in lowly manger lies, this glad day long awaited

Africa My Homeland
Africa My Homeland

I am the face
fixed on a map
A space
with boundary, leaving no gap
I am a homeland
desecrated when I was abducted from my rightful nation
A brand
with a name which precedes my reputation
I am a continent
incapacitated not to live up to his flair
A dissident
doors shut daily to his face unless I straightened my hair
I am a riddle
narrated to my kids stuck in Britain, France and America
A bridle
used only by Africans for Africa...

Premium Member Sheldon Lee Cooper
The physicist Sheldon Lee Cooper -
I’d call him a big party pooper!
He doesn’t like dancing
or even romancing.
His chats put you into a stupor!

For Joseph May's 'On A Lim' Poetry Contest
Character is Sheldon from BIG BANG THEORY.
Now that the original show is off the air, I really enjoy YOUNG SHELDON,
which is narrated by the character who plays the older Sheldon, Jim Parsons
(A highly intelligent character, he is extremely boring to most normal people!!)...
