Memory Loss
Her mind was slipping away,
further and further everyday.
"Who are you?", She would say.
"Don't you know me?, I'm Ray!"
"I know him!"...

Trump With Hair Thinning From Beginning
Trump With Hair Thinning from Beginning

He sure has an interesting way of things displaying,
Even though he is growing old  and hair is graying;
Big, brash boss,
With memory loss;
What next is it this moron may be gaily saying?

An Analogy of Memory Loss
It's a bit like...
you are in a bathroom
filling a hot tub,
slowly the steam
covers the mirror...
and the mirror loses it's reflection;
that loss of reflection,
is my memory fading !

Memory Loss
Memory Loss

Motivated by thought,
realised mistreated actions.
I owe it to myself,
to know I am enough.
Who do you think you are,
to make me doubt
my fire
that burns to bright
for you to desire.
How strong can you then be,
if you can't handle me?
So I have a memory loss
of you and me
a stranger that ones
walked passed me....

Memory Loss
Visions of illustrated forks
Pointing your direction
To the far away mystic night
Where the werewolves howl
Guiding you to your room
Filled with lights and sorrow
The same fearful sound
Of clicking, like an unwanted houseguest
Or a stray dog with no name
Piercing the hallow depths
Of your pitiful imagination
Let your cranium  run wild
And point you to somewhere new...

Don'T Tell Others :: Trine
Post-retirement, why eager to join class? I can take frequent absence as days pass. Attend class without study, no fearing. Teachers won't shout, know I'm short of hearing. On assignment submission day, I'll say Sorry! Mam, I didn't remember the day. She knows memory loss, but alas! They can't call parent though poor marks scoring Nice time for me on Parent-Teacher's day. ~x~x~

Alzheimer's Poem
I thought it was tonight
but maybe it's tomorrow.
I wondered when I woke
with memory stalled in sorrow.

Then got up to a life
that faded into mind.
And knew I couldn't share
what others couldn't find.

Then started out my day
remembering what I could.
Ignoring all the others
that never understood.

Until I had to share
what some would call a hi.
When all my fears remembering
were pressures quickened bye....

Worse Than Any Disease
|| 2 feet from the mud
on 6 inch heels breathing
difficult words while screaming
it's all for real
like kissing touching
the weeping burning sun
hugging frail entrails
--while shivering like
bleeding soldiers and
we're all within a living
hell /together my billion
soul brothers and sisters\
there are some remedies
worse than any disease
my withering hands hold
your face as i offer
an invitation for
memory loss ;
you receive ||

Wish You Were Here
They say -
 she's in a better place,
I know it's true
 with all God's grace,
 those last few years
 were ..., well, you know
 full of tears
how you suffered so,
 never once complaining,
 the stroke, the memory loss,
 unable to see, the darkness gaining
 the immobility, the endless pain,
forgetting me;
God was kind, compassionate,
 loving to set you free
 calling you home despite my tears
 but for myself,
I fear
 I miss you every moment,
   wish you were here....
