Life and Death
Maggot wriggled,
in the dead carcass,
it lived from the dead,
but did he know,
that the dead,
that he was living upon,
had died from the acts of alive ones....

The Killer
Those dreams which are long pending
Dispersed over space and time
For a one single goal of
Creating the best of mine
Killing us day by day
Like a maggot creeping through the vein....

Death
In death chimes no dime;
But grime embraced,
In silent crimes,
Of critters dressed,
In maggot shawls,
Of this charmless congregation,
That chew the rot,
Till dust and dust lie,
On naked blankets,
Of dark sands....

What matter 'elections'
when man's end is the worm
When his hope is the maggot
  matters not how he squirms

So much angst, so much stress
Yet at the end of the day
You're sealed in a box
  'Twas better to've prayed...

Principles
I cry less for the hungry, more for the junkies
I weep less for the poor, more for the dull

Give a penny to the helpless, a slap to the faithless
Those who has sold their names and hold for gains

I rather be a maggot than a bigot...

Evil
Evil is a spiritual maggot,

That devours the heart and mind...

Maggot Monotony
MAGGOT MONOTONY on the precipice I survey the sea of stores and casual faceless crowds, I the planet lost in the tide swarming with skulls thrashing the facades restless brows maggots infest the nucleus until the centre shrieks like a sheet in the night, startled by the intense glare that neon signs cast upon blankness and pointless vows © Kim van Breda—29 June 2014

I Am Magpie
Margot cooked a sweet maggot-pie
Birds were rapturous one was shy
                                             She was so little
                                               A tootle tittle
Got the jump on 'I am magpie'

Maga Became Maggot and Did Tag It
a call had been close
after we would put on clothes
went out door we close

when we did tag it
MAGA became a maggot
applied tourniquet

would be sinister
sermon said by minister
about being spinster

what we knew for sure
increased our expenditure
for one more denture

we would meander
creating gerrymander
did raise up dander

poem would write to read
was great everyone agreed
did the dirty deed...

The Dog, the Bear, and the Maggot
The Dog is structured,
Always working to preserve,
Familial ties.
Diligent service,
Loyal to love and country,
Strong yet still servile.

The Bear is nurtured,
A hunter in fair weather,
Useless in winter.
Promises plenty,
But bleeds his own forest dry,
Water, trees and all.

The Maggot is cankered,
A hollow soul and stomach,
Skulking forest floors.
Can only scavenge,
ON the corpses of others,
And their fellow man....

A Burial
A lifeless house sparrow lays dead
In the middle of the towpath
As if asleep on a green sheet;
Its body still warmed by the sun
That one could mistakenly guess
Its demise was moments before
My arrival except that its
Only exposed eyeball was gone
Indicating an earlier
Death. No decomposers arrived
As yet, usually the maggot
Flies are the first at a death scene.
I picked up the feathery corpse
And buried it beside the path....

Im Just Fine.
I have no feelings , no thoughts and no remorse,
Deathly evil lurks around my mind,
I know no humor, i am the maggot on a corpse.
maybe its time for me to unwind.

I hate mostly everyone, except one,
But your most likely included,
Mind on the burner, death from a gun.
My hate turns to sorrow, diluted.

Ill seduce you and take your soul,
And feed from your blood so easily,
ill love you and make you whole.
Or kill you just as feasibly....

Sweet Sister of Mine
Sweet sister of mine,
I'll let you see my scars.
Our lonely, abandoned comfort zone.
Lets cut out the stars
and bleed out the galaxy.
Feeling maggot brained,
going as fast as a machine gun.
I'm ready to go
on the bathroom floor.
Others never knew,
others never cared.
Will you ever
Bleed Like Me?
Being normal is something we'll never be.
Normally insane,
we just can't pretend.
Razor blade sisters,
others will never be able to comprehend....

Family Relationships
Maggot eaten flesh of family relationships
Putrid stench emanating from the sores
Our sense of right and wrong we justify
Hold our ground till the other person falls

Where love and affection rules
There exists no need to prove
Only the desire to remove the others pain
The sweet word “sorry” to say

Should I say first or should it be you
Let us not wait to see where it all started
Lest the womb that brought us forth
Cries out “no more agony...

Once I Called All Poets To Come, They Came
Once I called all poets to come, they came
And sat in judgment upon me
With my silence I hid their shame
And watched them toasted their misery
Tell me, did then the vision of the poet failed?
Can human only know their own history
Was the larel of our friendship quailed?
Are we but blind savants of prophecy?
The maggot was an egg when the fruit was green
The ripening gold seduces its birth
For all love’s glory let me walk between
The flowering grass and the dew of earth...
