Premium Member A Murder of Crows

a murder of crows
gathering in the gloaming,
swarming o'er gravestones...
denigrating the deceased?
or a macabre mourning?

Premium Member Worth The Fight

All those macabre minds,
they dismember the world’s hope;
Manifesting ease,
forgetting it’s worth the fight;
Riot is evolution.

Monster Writes in Nigh

The rot of humanity's shadow is not in the ink,
but in the darkness that fuels the pen,
gruesome daggers, dripping honeyed poison.

Premium Member Macabre Obsession

Wet blood on the floor
it must have drained out of her;
Forensics team blushed

Hiding macabre obsession.

Set The Mood

Red rose corset, black trim,
dress leaves little to imagination,
light lace to hide my secrets,
choker with meteor made black rose pendant.

Twinkle Twinkle Parody

Simmer ember tiny star
Supernova from a far
Azure wave through the void
Shattering marbles like glass toys
Simmer ember tiny star
Supernova all to char

Premium Member Sir Dainty, the Delicate Robber

There once was a delicate robber
Yet in his drink he'd drool and slobber
   Sure he loved to drink beer
   But to me it's unclear
Why 'Sir Dainty' was so macabre
Form: Limerick

Nadir Axiom

A fleeting Fata Morgana that transmutes the deadly shiver of existence into the chrysopoeic alchemy of the infinite, where the boundaries of time and space are but a mere illusion.

Sympathy For the Reaper

Parading in the graveyard so silent and dark
Checking the date on the victims tombstones
But a Reaper must do his duty and play his part
And forever walk with darkness and macabre alone

Realizing Beauty

In the underbelly of the behemoth,
where darkness devours the light,
lies the truth - a macabre cotillion
of vice and virtue, forever swirling,
a maddening waltz of the dualistic kiss.

one ounce of sand, the rest is finger extensions,
caught in the side breeze — that is all you need,
one thing to keep — oar the aspen river rose.

demeanour relaxed and affable

Autumn

Autumn leaves
flutter
and fall
twirling in a
danse macabre
their scattered colors
brilliant, lay
in mock repose
and dry decay
lawn’s mosaic,
lowly cloak
they wait their turn
to go up in smoke

Premium Member Eggshells

Always walking on eggshells
tip toeing  around landmines;
Avoid being blown apart
the cracks weave into a web;
Desperate to make it through
a tricky dance with macabre;
Your thoughts suddenly explode.

Monolith

monolith wrapped
with blackish aura
now old lion has
lost it's strength
wiggles under the
iron gossamer
sometimes yelps
yawns and sighs
waiting in labyrinth
for macabre end

Planet Earth

Wishing to view her ocean stand atop these shores..
Imagining nighttides the moon silence save whispers
Echoing an ancient surf; what is this mirage a macabre
Unto me but his tomb their grave ? My blood, she bleeds.

Sherouq

She blazoned in profusion
sour braids stained
by years of catastrophe
macabre salutations evolve

lie wicked forewarnings
sheathed within
