Sir Dainty, the Delicate Robber

There once was a delicate robber
Yet in his drink he'd drool and slobber
Sure he loved to drink beer
   But to me it's unclear
Why 'Sir Dainty' was so macabre

Hello Gershon … alcohol does that to some people, but perhaps it’s a ploy to distract from his robbing too - thanks Gershon - Lindsay

Maybe you're right. Bank robbers aren't usually 'dainty' or 'delicate.' Thanks, Alexis! :)
