Faster than lightning
Lurking in the dark shadows
More Leathal than poison

Paper tiger,
Good afternoon
Staring at
The paper moon
Lurking at
The water’s edge,
Capturing the
Beautiful origami bird
It was lurking,
that patch of ice,
as slick as glass.
Quite innocently
I stepped outside
and fell on my . . .
ankle.
Dog's arch nemesis
coolly lurking on tree branch
protected by glass
coyly mocking dog inside
sinister plotting next move
Landmines lurking everywhere
Danger here, peril there
Your family members really care
With them your feelings always share
I check hotel beds
imagine them lurking there
shudder at the word
shorten it to just BBs
the very thought makes me sweat
* Bedbugs
Lurking in shadows
The fading shadow
In darkness of my desire
Of the one I thought I was
Longing to be free
Melts into the mist
the undead arise
slowly lurking around me
to prepare moon's feast

Children frockling
Sunshine, blue gums, Billabong
Crocodile lurking.
Billabong: A streambed filled with water only in the rainy season
evil lurking within the hearts of men
negating what goodness remained,
a time of infamy it shall always be,
a bloody chapter in human history.
A right heart
Will not be found,
laboring on seeming indiscretions of others;
But rather,
on the improprieties
Found lurking closer at hand.
The Neocortex
Thinks, the Limbic System feels
What the heart reveals –
Yet Amygdala
Lurking near (though tucked away)
Truly rules the day!
Lurking in the foam
a whole network connected
The whispering trees
Commencement frees the sprit within
Lurking dormant beneath our skin
Sentenced to prisons they call school
Liberation's rejoicing, spirit's fuel
When my great self
Was taking birth,
Death, his month agape Was lurking at the door
But at my firm gesture
Weighing the strength of my arms
He quietly withdrew.
When my great self
Was taking birth,
Death, his month agape Was
lurking at the door..
But at my firm gesture
Weighing the strength of my arms
He quitely withdrew.
These days I have been indulging myself,
But lurking guilt always dims my joy,
In the rhythm of rushed life,
I even forgot how to write!
-Vagabond
The little angels were
Just sitting in their classroom
Playing and enjoying their lives
Not knowing of any danger lurking
And looking for innocent
Souls to take
What I see,
blinds the light,
that sings in my eyes,
from twinkles,
that angels cry.
But what is that,
that comes to be,
lurking behind,
waiting to be loved.
Form:
She looks.
Cascading out of control,
white water floods me.
I fear the rocks
lurking ‘neath dark pools.
Drawing me near,
the swirling eddys
foretell much.
Too much!
No matter
what the lineament of one's personality is,
its opposite is lurking in the depths of his
soul!

Âges roam around their
end and the place of death
is fix and lurking.

Death and life are always in fierce fight
Death is lurking away from your sight
Ready to take you away
For worms that make you decay
And ends your life with a long dark night
awkwardly waiting, ‘in-between’
not yet adults, no longer tweens
larvae-like lurking, behind-the-scenes
‘fore bursting their shells, onto life’s screen
slimy
and ugly
creepy crawlers
you can’t see them
in every crevasse
but
you know
they're there
lurking in the dark
