Weed's looking little
Bit like Little Italy
In a petri dish
In shack lab belonging to
Hermit who lives underground.

Saw the
Little birds
Chirping nearby
And making their nests
Guessed in my mind
The spring-glows
surely
Sound...
curious little humans
attacking flies in mid air
tapping the air with tiny paws
sitting on windowsills
watching birds
"Sweet sleeping child: so near, so far"

eyelashes fall on your cheeks,
fringing sleepy eyes.
Did you ever stop and think
When you got that little wink
And she always called you honey
All her lust was just for money.
In tidy closets ~
Coats hang peacefully,

Beside little shoeboxes,
The cosiest of spaces.
my mama was a sticky note
my daddy a ball point pen
